Miksi Early Access?

While the game is far from "complete" (content, polish, bugfixes...), we do believe it is playable and enjoyable in its current state.
We want to release into early access to get people actually playing the game, both as a means of getting feedback, and to also build a bigger community around the game.

Miten kauan peli tulee arviolta olemaan Early Access -vaiheessa?

Contributors come and go, and being in Early Access allows us to take our time shaping and polishing the game. For these reasons, we cannot give an estimate of how long the game will stay in Early Access.

Millä tavoin lopullinen versio tulee eroamaan Early Access -versiosta?

We intend to have fully decided on interaction mechanics and interface design, on top of, of course, having more content like jobs, antagonists, maps, random events, ...more everything, really.

Mikä on Early Access -version tila tällä hetkellä?

Every job has their basic content and tasks laid out for them, Traitor and Nuclear Operatives game modes have been implemented, and the basic round game loop is in place.

Muuttuuko pelin hinta Early Access -vaiheen jälkeen?

Space Station 14 is and will always be completely free, and this will not change. It's free in Early Access and will stay free when we leave Early Access.

Miten yhteisö otetaan mukaan kehitysprosessiin?

We plan to post regular progress reports about the current state of the game on our website, Discord, and of course the Steam Community.
Furthermore, anybody can contribute! Space Station 14 is open source, so if you have some basic developing talent, you can probably help out! For those who can't, we of course listen to feedback on platforms like Discord and appreciate feedback or opinions about even the smallest of decisions.
