Why Early Access?

“We've chosen to release Cosplay Club through Early Access to involve our community in the game's development journey. By providing players with early access to the game, we aim to gather valuable feedback, insights, and suggestions that will help us refine and enhance the gaming experience. This collaborative approach allows us to build a game that resonates with the preferences and expectations of our players. It all started during the Kickstarter in 2022, and we want to continue exploring this path.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The duration of the Early Access phase will depend on the feedback and input we receive from the community. We are committed to delivering a polished and engaging experience, and the Early Access period will continue until we feel that the game has reached a level of quality and completeness that aligns with our vision. It will be mostly around 6 to 12 months, and even after that, we plan to continue to integrate new content.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version serves as a foundation, offering players a glimpse into the core mechanics and features of Cosplay Club. Throughout the Early Access phase, we plan to introduce additional content, refine gameplay elements based on player feedback, and address any identified issues. The full version will represent a more comprehensive and polished experience, with expanded storylines, additional customization options, refined gameplay mechanics, and overall improvements based on the insights gathered during Early Access.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“As of the Early Access launch, the game will be in a playable and feature-rich state, showcasing the core gameplay mechanics, character customization, turn-based battles, and an initial portion of the story. While the game will be enjoyable in its early stages, we anticipate and welcome feedback to help us identify areas for improvement and expansion.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“No, there will not be a difference in pricing between the Early Access version and the full release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“As we already proven in our previous projects, such as Chroma Squad and Out of Space, community involvement is a cornerstone of our development philosophy. We have established an official Behold Studios Discord Server where players can actively engage with the development team, share their experiences, and provide feedback. We'll also regularly communicate through updates, sharing our development roadmap, addressing player concerns, and actively incorporating community suggestions into the game's evolution. We believe in a collaborative journey, and the community's input will play a crucial role in shaping the final version of Cosplay Club.”
