Miksi Early Access?

Dinkum is a game I’ve been working on for nearly 10 years. While I believe the game is very close to being feature complete, having the game in Early Access allows me to continue development on Dinkum, while involving the community, their suggestions and feedback.

Miten kauan peli tulee arviolta olemaan Early Access -vaiheessa?

I will continue the development of Dinkum until I feel like the game and its content are at a quality I consider completed.

Millä tavoin lopullinen versio tulee eroamaan Early Access -versiosta?

My plan is to expand on the existing activities in the game, such as seasonal activities, hunting, trapping, diving, farming and photography. In addition, I will continue to offer players new activities and locations to discover and experience.
Additionally, throughout Early Access I intend to add new unique items such as bugs, fish, crops, clothing, crafting recipes and furniture to make your island feel even more like home.

Mikä on Early Access -version tila tällä hetkellä?

The Early Access version of Dinkum contains a solid experience with a lot of content. Players can enjoy crafting, fishing, bug catching, mining, metal detecting, farming crops, raising farm animals, planting orchards, hunting, driving vehicles, buying new clothes, upgrading and decorating their homes. As well as making friends with and convincing unique villagers with their own business to come and live on their island.
Since early access has started I’ve also been able to add new locations, such as two new underground mining levels, a new island reef to visit, hundreds of new items, new NPC visitors and other quality of life changes.

Muuttuuko pelin hinta Early Access -vaiheen jälkeen?

Dinkum will be offered at a lower price while it’s in Early Access.

Miten yhteisö otetaan mukaan kehitysprosessiin?

I will be involving the community through Dinkum’s Discord server where players are welcome to leave their feedback and suggestions for new features or for balancing changes. Any update or patch will be fully transparent and include patch notes.
