I save it as 24Bits bmp, but the game say "Dateibild ist beschädigt" ("File image is corrupted", in english) I will make the image again.

@3 Nuts : There's only one picture per "Map" yes. I think it would have been incredibly complicated to cross that with "Pure RNG" (also, it would have desync the phone in the world and the phone in hand). So yeah, it's 1 per map ^^

if i choose two pics, is it normal that in campaign in the first chapter only one picture appears and in the second chapter only another picture appears (maybe it was just bad rng for me ^^)?

@CerealJewel7766 : Save as Bitmap 24Bits (in Paint for example). Bitmaps 32Bits and 16Bits can't be set as sprays.

Did you try "Save as" ? Regular "Save" does not work unless you are editing a .vtf

@3 Nuts : When you select all the pictures you want, they need to be in a same folder to do you.
You can check that the pictures were processed by changing the "Frame" number in the Image Menu. If you can't make it go past 0, you did something wrong and there will be no RNG.

@3 Nuts : It's technically possible, but you need a programmed called VTFEdit that you can fine here [nemesis.thewavelength.net].
Then in this program, select File => Import and then select all the pictures you want. Then, Export and name it wallpaper.vtf
Then, either import it in the game as a spray or if it doesn't work, put it directly into Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\materials\vgui\logos\custom

I know that many models call for multiple textures and people can get real crafty with it, EG: Nick has 3, his body texture, head texture, and then Rochelle's body (the pistol holster texture is on her sheet, saves needing to cram it on each character's) but making the background of the phone call for the spray texture, that's smart stuff.

@Penny_Penguin : No, but it lasts a lot. If I recall correcly, it looses 1% each 90 seconds, so at most the battery lasts 2 hours 30 (per map and not per campaign).

@Hydra956 : This is because you set up an improperly format an an improperly compression.
For .bmp, you need Bitmap 24bits . Select this one in Paint if you want to convert a file.
And obviously, if you just rename the file extension , it won't work :P

Putting it in the folder is not enough, did you do what you can see in the video ?
