Hello there. I was browsing for Civ 5 addons...and spotted this. Instantly my heart went aflutter upon seeing I can play as my most beloved MLP Character...until I realized...it didn't exactly fit how I viewed her. I was wondering if you could make a more....peaceful version of this? I...could happily provide details on how. I feel it would be an interesting twist on this, and provide players who don't view Chrysalis as imperialist a fun addon. I fully intend to reget Civ 5 soon, but I would love it if I could provide ideas and whatnot for it.

CookieSkoon: Appearing as monks is a cunning disguise. :) When you move an Infiltrator next to an enemy city, other units within two tiles of the infiltrator (though not units in the same tile, due to technical limitations) get +50% attack against that city. The Infiltrator also gives the same attack bonus a Great General gives.

I'm having an issue, I think. Instead of great generals I am getting infiltrators but they appear as monks and are entirely useless. They have no actions whatsoever and cannot enter enemy cities. Is this a glitch or am I missing the point of this unit?

My only complaint is that there is no unique skin for the infiltrator. Even if you just did a human skin for it it would be awesome, the warrior template on it is just so unfitting considering that their so weak against other units.

Why does it say 'Vanilla' when it features spies? I doubt this works.

You should try to un-subscribe this, and try re-subscribing it.
If that doesn't work, then you should do the same instructions, and then restart Steam. This mostly works due to common bugs to Steam.

Just asking. I want to try to change all troops skins into changeling skins. Can I use this mod as a part of it? (not planning to distribute it).

A special Brave New World version is now available. That version has a trait involving the World Congress, an updated Infiltrator and some updated art and music (will be putting the latter in this version soonish).

Ooh, that's a good one. And I'd been looking for something more appropriate than chiptune. I don't have time for modding right now and some other things will come first when I do, but I'll add this to my to do list for after Brave New World comes out.

@Vadrigar: This is a Steam bug I'm currently trying to fix as well. From what I've read, the steps to fix it goes as follows:

1.) Quit Civ V if it's running.
2.) Unsubscribe from all mods* and quit Steam.
3.) Navigate to My Documents -> My Games -> CivV, and delete everything inside the MODS folder. Also delete the CivVModsDatabase folder in the Cache folder. (These files will re-download upon launching CivV, don't worry.)
4.) Re-launch Steam and re-subscribe to your mods*
5.) Launch CivV and navigate to the mod selection screen. All mods should begin to download after a few seconds.

*It's worth suggesting that the unsubscribe/resubscribe process can be made easier if you create a collection of your subscribed mods before unsubscribing in step 1, so as to sidestep having to search for each and every mod you have subscribed to to date.

I've downloaded this, and 4 other Civis, and none of them work (or even appear for that matter). I think I might be doing something wrong...

@INVADER JEX: I think you can. Don't take my word for it, but I'm pretty sure I say it on there.

Sorry if there is a different space for this, but I just thought I'd report a bug. Sometimes when I visit Chrysalis it mentions Rome. Not a big deal or anything, but just so you know.

JEX: The only dependency this has is on the Gods & Kings expansion. If you don't have that, use the vanilla version linked to in the description. (If you have G&K and still get a dependency error, you're probably using some other mod which disables G&K.)

I've learned some lua! With the latest update, the House of Love will be automatically built in any city conquered by the Changelings. This includes cities that are puppeted rather than annexed. This gives the player a bit more flexibility, and more importantly should make AI Changelings rather less self-destructive.

Is there perhaps another download location than steam files? I've been able to download every other mod, and get it working, save this one, and it refuses to download or refuses to recognise in the game mods section sadly.

when i play as another nation, and i go to trade with chrysalis / the changelings, this retro / epic music of "this day aria" plays... i'm assuming it's this mod because it only happens with this civ. i'd like to have that song somewhere out of Civ 5 (like youtube, itunes, wherever). anyone know the version name of the song or where i can find it?
