Is there a way to make it so that only I get benefits from this mod and not the AI?

I've figured out the problem and fixed it. Here is the updated version, I tested and it works well now:

为什么?
让杀死野蛮人更像杀死civ单位,在整个游戏中更有价值!
然而,并没有完全取消上限,否则你或另一个civ可以轻松地养殖7级。

Does this not work with the barbarian clans mode? I have a very short mod-list but this isn't working at all for me. Still just getting 1 exp from fighting barbarians after the first level up.

This mod changes very little to the game files and I checked today and nothing is out of date so issues are most likely not due to this mod.

Just started my first game with a new selection of mods (including this one) and am noticing that I've started getting warnings that new Barbarian Camps have spawned but the map co-ordinates given take me to a place with no new Barbarian camps. It seems unlikely but... Is this in any way related to THIS mod?

No R.E.D mod , steel and thunder mod , multiplayer , or barbarian mod use. I got GS & R&F as it works fine on my end even with up to 100 mods use. AlteredBeast: possible mod conflict?

May need update for online multiplayer & barbarian mode, thou mod is fine without them. You could try test ethier online multiplayer or barbarian mode solo with barb exp mod. @Prince Henry: SailerCats's Watchtower Barbarian Outposts to Watchtowers mods may help with that.

Could this mod somehow affect barbarian spawn rates? Since I turned this mod on, barbarian camps are spawning at a ridiculous rate that I haven't seen in 1000+ hours of gameplay.

I love this mod, but it seems like the mod is not fully compatible with barbarians mod. I haven't seen any of camp developing into CS as it should, no matter how much I spend them.

I second Peter34's opinion. A middle ground where the cap is at level 3 would be ideal. Perhaps introduce a setting for that or maybe there's a file that we could change this easily (let us know if there is)?

Is there a milder impact version of this mod, where the cap applies from level 3 onwards?

I personally think it's bad that you can farm XP all the way up to level 4 with this mod as is, whereas the vanilla cap is too harsh. A middle ground would be preferable.

elrizzoonly: if the mod was subscribed & enabled at time u started the game before u saved it(of the saved game , go load menus check saved game mod list details). it will not affect if subscribed to while playing a saved game. The only other thing depends when was last time u played the saved game(if the mod was in it) , if too long and mod been updated then it would affect the saved game. And in that case u may need to start a new & make sure mod is subscribed & enable as well all mods u seek.:Diplomat:

elrizzo: mostly u subscribe from steam not while u in a game , then after all your select mods are subscribed then launch game(steam library). And in mod section on civilization VI enable all u wish then start a game(after mods are loaded as per required for some games). You can't subscribe to a mod while u playing a game, cause they need to be enable from mod menu & loaded(as per some games do) before u start a game in order to work:Diplomat:.

The update wouldn't have effected this. If there's an update that specifically changes anything about barbarian exp, then maybe we have a concern.

I can't imagine this mod has been affected by the update but you never know, updates are fickle things. Can anybody confirm this is still working?

This is perfect! I feel like the default cap is too much, too soon, but I don't want it to go away entirely. Each person has their own particular ways they want to play. For the way I want to play, I like this a lot better than just removing the cap entirely.

@Cube, strange I'm not sure why that is, in all of my tests the exp gain is fine until level 4, it could be that the units your fighting are much weaker / out of date compared to yours or you have another mod that is conflicting the change?
