The Brotherhood of NOD are definitely pretty evil, even though they've done some good things. Whether or not Kane is evil depends heavily on if you consider his religious devotion to be genuine and whether or not you think 'destroying most of the earth and experimenting indiscriminately' is worth doing to save the rest of the Brotherhood. They are definitely war criminals though.

This page is outdated, refer to my earlier comment. The docs and wiki have not been maintained in forever, that text is probably from another wiki page.
I'm aware that Nod is not a mere terrorist organization, however their actions and ethics could imply that when viewed from an outside perspective.
As much as I love the Brotherhood and Kane, they have done a few things that could be seen as "wrong" or at the very least questionable ;P

The only correction/advice I can give is that it says that in the docs and other places that NOD is a terrorist organization. I would like that changed as that is not the case. If anything this sounds biased and from the viewpoint of a GDI sympathizer/member. Please make sure to not vilify a group that has done nothing wrong.

This version of the mod is outdated and not supported anymore, I have been working on a general overhaul of the entire mod for a few years now, should be coming to 1.3 soon.

Is there a setting for some lighter gameplay? i.e. have tiberium do its things, but with much slower spread? Like if we want a playthrough that is not mostly focused on tiberium but as an annoyance or opportunity.

Actually - Nevermind what I said.
I was so used to receiving comments on the dev branch I assumed this was the dev branch version as well!
This mod version is not being updated and you should go to the dev branch instead - its the most up to date.
This version wont even work with any recent RW version.

This is essentially the main mod which receives all the updates, but may break your game or saves. Which I try to avoid but cannot guarantee.

Forgive me as I ask this.
Now I understand that the development version is getting alot of updates, however is says right in the description that it is unstable. So I just would like to know is if this will get updated once a more stable version of the development becomes available. I just what to get a good idea of if I should go with the main or should I just stick with the dev?

There is an actively developed experimental branch.
