I actually like this hud quite a bit, though I wish I was able to use team health numbers with this. I know its years old though so I don't expect anything to happen.

this was made without splitscreen in mind, haven't had the chance to play splitscreen since l4d2 came out on 360

I've been wanting to look into the Arcade port of L4D2, but I don't have it downloaded and the original mega link is gone. all other means of download is behind sketchy torrent sites.


If anyone has access to the Japanese Arcade Port, please let me know and I might ask for help with porting content from there to the game.

This would be my personal favourite HUD, if my HP bar didn't disappear occasionally. Seems like when it disappears, the other HP bars slide over to the left too- maybe there's a connection? None of my mods seem to conflict so I'm unsure what the issue is.

+1 to the previous comment. Could somebody port the original HUD?

Since the arcade files have been dumped, if someone can actually port the hud to the workshop, I'd give you a big thumbs up.

I was working on implementing them as a seperate mod or as an update but stuff has come up and I won't be having too much time to work on texture mods as much as I would like.

at the moment I am working on creating a video game with gamemaker and I would like to fully focus on that right now.



So for a more simplistic answer they are coming but it might take a while.

any chance there will be the full hud with the incap and death if i may ask?

As much as I would like to, I will not be adding the health counter to the mod for two reasons

1: The original Japanese arcade hud doesn't have the health counter

2: It would get in the way of the "Player 1" icon, but to be fair I could move it over to the left a little but I think that would look weird.

Would you consider adding health counter for this HUD? That would be big help!

Then there might be another mod that is conflicting with this one, try figuring out what is causing this to conflict with another mod.

My guess is that there is another script within a different mod that is conflicting with this.

No, I had disabled my HUD mod to try this one out, yet it's name is still shown in red (conflicting).

Do you have any other mods/scripts for the healthbar?

It may be conflicting with another mod you may have downloaded.

I am planning on recreating the Incap and Death Icons but those will be seperate for this mod because I wanted this hud mod to be compatable with various other mods.

But I think Shrektastic told me it says something like "Rush Out Survivor" if that helps.

Someone really needs to find a way to make these characters. Blake is awesome. Anyways, nice job! I always thought the arcade one looked fun.
