I MUCH prefer the daaaaark and dreary world of warhammer...
Just curious. Since clicking the subscribe button itsn't that much of a hassle anyways.
I'll see you in a bit after i'm testing it! :]
Btw, is it save compatible?
If you subscribe to this mod, it does NOTHING... won't mung up your game at all. The subscribe file that downloads... is EMPTY.
The "Clouds_TRUE.pack" file.... (the one you have to download) ... THAT is the file that makes some changes.... so... download and drop into the directory. If you don't like it... simply DELETE that single file.... and vwalla back to vanilla !!!! simple as that
I highly recommend trying this out... it's worth the 2 min install ;)
The reason why we have to use an external link is because in order to edit the VFX visual effects files, we have to save the mod as a certain "file type". It's a MOVIE .pack file type... which is no problem.... the problem is that the game launchers "mod manager" won't recognize that file type :( so we have no choice but an external file link. Hope that helps explain why.
I've already asked CA to include the movie file type in any future versions of the mod manager that they might be working on :)
It makes me feel like Im IN the warhammer world.
Not just some cheap chess map with armies.
You're mods are awesome kelstr!
If you look closely at the Wood Elves territory... you can see the wood elf corruption (forest mist) that engulfs their lands. This is tied to the wood elves regions only !! So if you loose a region to another faction... the forest mist goes away !!
@Nagash - Glad you like it !!!
@Kornstalx - This is definitely demanding on your computer... I had it was stronger, which was lower my campaign map fps from 60-70 fps down to 25 fps (Playing in 4k on ultra graphics).... So I toned down the effect of the clouds to a level that I thought was still good.
You can always modify your VFX setting in custom graphics.... :) Hope that helps !!!
