If you wanna make something, just make it and publish it. If it's a reskin of one of my models put a link to the original in the description and I'm alright with it.

Hi dude!
I'm a huge fan of the Adv. Vehicle Effects. I'm using only your trains cause the sound is so cool. I was willing to model a train, but don't want it without the sounds. Could i create a texture for one of your models? You will publish it, the credits are yours. The matter is that ALL(Latin America Logistics) company, now fused and icorporated to RUMO Group, covers an area that corresponds to 75% of Latin America GDP. All trains here belong to them. Having their trains would be really cool to players in many countries. The engine texture would be this one: http://emc.acidadeon.com/dbimagens/composicao_da__13052017111557.jpg

The break and flange sounds are now added, as well as the engine idle sound to make your cargo stations more noisy.

@TURMOIL I will :)

Please add custom sounds to the electric powered trains like the DDZ/NID and ICMM :3

I'll take another look and probably add them when I do the pack for the 2200s as well.

I tried braking/flange sounds for all trailers on some trains and found them to be ok volume-wise, the sound engine doesn't seem to just add them up. Or you could only add those sounds to the locomotives, which probably still produces an acceptable illusion.

I was more concerned with the amount of noise it would generate rather than performance issues.

Nice too see the definition packs implemented! There are for sure some third party vehicles, for which I will provide definitions.

Just looked at the definition and noticed your xml comments regarding the wheel flange sounds. Those are simply additional effects you can apply alongside any moving sound effects. Same is true for braking sounds.

Flange grinding isn't really complex to compute (mainly a line/plane intersection + centripetal force), so using it for all trailers should be ok. After all, those effects are only computed for the usually small number of trains in acustic range - so we propably could do really messy things per frame.
