Yep old mod. Stopped updating it when better modders made better versions. Check out Shidan's workshop (reactive world modder) i believe he made a better version of this

Hello, one question, does this modification have problems with the item removal from the "slavers"? That is to say, will the slavers of the world take the hearts of all unconscious people?

@Iamintoxicated. Could be the mod is broken or outdated. I'm not maintining mods for kenshi anymore. Or it could be that you have modded NPC's in which case they wouldn't have it. This only affects most vanilla ones

@Kot 4 this is an old mod made before the mao was complete so does not include all NPC and is no longer supported. Scroll down the comments and you will find where I link to a more uptodate mod someone else made

@Nanogiraffe; Are you familiar to recommend one/Have you been following them at all? This is a mechanic which I've always thought was critical for multiple RP reasons and its lack has always been a breaker for me. But whenever I have searched for it in the past, there were lots of reasons every option just wasn't viable. Would love to hear of one modder who nailed it.

@Lucid & Cat this is quite an old mod, made before the map was completed and the hearts are therefore not added to all NPC. I'm no longer supporting the mod. There are other mods that have come after this one that do similar things you might like to try

1. Такой же баг как и со скелетами, если вырвать сердце в клетке-он выживет.
2. Узнал, что смотритель из хранилища теньгу и ближайшая прислуга теньгу, как и заключенные хранилища-Бессердечные сволочи. У них буквально нет сердец.
3. В возрождении новым рабам вырывают сердца. Думаю, в каменном лагере тоже. Они, кстати, и в клетках погибают.

This mod is great in theory. However, any form of slavers kills everything. Reavers, Slavers, etc all strip the slaves of their inventory, including the hearts... Still a great mod, just keep that in mind if you want to use it.

To others reading, Also to nanogiraffe: can we adjust this object to put it into and then remove it from a character's inventory, triggering the death upon removal? Then it could be a stiletto instead of a heart, used only when he's unconscious or when you're sneaky enough to get into his inventory otherwise - it would be so very lore-friendly and then slavers wouldn't kill everybody who's inventory they empty...

I've never stopped using this mod, but it's just got so many NPCs it doesn't apply to, and nobody has worked around the slavers killing slaves issue from what I've seen...

The mod works but he hasn't updated it. He added the heart to each individual unit and so many new units and characters have been added to the game that many of them aren't killable. I hope that the modder updates it but I'm not counting on it, this is probably my most valuable mod to the game. I'm even considering trying to learn it just to update all of the new characters.

I might be doing something wrong but I don't believe the mod works anymore.

Please update this mod. I love the idea very much but cannot cook the hearts so I just end up having to throw them on the ground where even my animals still do not eat them.

I have tried using the FCS instructions you listed below but I'm not sure I understand. I cannot find any existing "stewed meat" in the FCS and when I try to create it i run into road blocks connecting it to the heart ingredient or the animal feeder, and don't really know what to do when it comes to icons and meshes and whatever. I'm not a modder and not tech savvy so it's a bit out of my element to be doing all of that (without a clear step by step)

Great mod but without the functioning recipe or them being edible raw to animals, it's not 100% done.

Don't work.

This still seems to be working. However, if you don't do a clean start, you have to import. Even if you import, it doesn't work on NPC's that are already spawned. So best bet is a clean start.

Hah, removing hearts from your own characters doesn't kill them. The name of my faction is now The Heartless Ones.

please, update

for the mystery meat recipe you have to load the mod in FCS by copying it to your kenshi mod folder (name the folder and the .mod file like Bloodymurder+). Open it in FCS and go to building > functionality > cooking general. Add an item craft and find the Stewed "meat" item. It will be green.

Incidentally you may want to add the stewed "meat" to the animal feeder and the food storage or you aren't going to find much use for a 10 nutrient food dish that only stacks 1 and can't be stored or auto-fed to anyone =P. (exterior furniture > animal feeder and furniture > storage: food)

I personally also changed the stewed meat to stack to 5 instead of 1 =P.
