Is there a point in using this if I'm using AMD Radeon Super Resolution upscaling and Motion Frames?

Observation: Screwed over the mod "Toggle It!" when it comes to toggling buildings on/off. All other things work with Toggle It! though, but if you wonder why you suddenly can't toggle buildings, this Dynamic Resolution mod may be the reason

Works for me. This is still, afaik, the only solution to change the internal resolution. so render it is no alternative to it!

!!Important is to set AA settings to FXAA in render it!, else it looks terrible with TAA!!

Maybe FYI:
in my case it is stuck at 15fps for some reason after starting a game.
Solution:
1. start cinematic camera,
2. go back and zoom in and zoom out
3. works as it should combined with all oher mods like RenderIt! and other GPU relevant ones

Is anyone able to use this mod while playing scenarios?
For me it works fine in a normal game, but in a scenario i'm not able to open the UI to change settings and so on.

When I subscribed to it I have following message: No UserMode Implementation. Every mod must be impelemented. Why?

@Sisyphos Lumina works on MAC. Has had dynamic resolution for 2 years now.

Would be so great to have it on the Mac! Render it + ULOD fortunately work and improve graphics by a lot, but resolution still sucks. I'm sure most modern Macs could handle the GPU load fine...

Very, very, very nice tool! I was always frustrated by the flickering lines appearing everywhere on buildings. Now, by upscaling to 200%, I now get crispy and sharp graphics (RTX 4070 Super).

hey, this mod works really great however it seems like the game's own high res screenshots (Shift+F12) are rendered at the regular resolution while being 8k.

can anyone please help me debug this?

Even with native Anti-aliasing turned on I could see the jaggy pastern of pixels. I run at 1080P on a 3090TI. I enabled your mod but took me awhile to know to press F10 in order to adjust the slider. It may be good to put this within your Options message where you set the slider maximums.

However using F10 was somewhere in the FAQs for the Mod, so reading is fundamental. :) Anyhow, after I set the slider to 200%, my jaggies went away. This makes my game look so much better... I did not see any frame loss either. This should have been built into the game!

Use Shift + F10

F10 or Left Ctrl+R doesn't work. The mod does not open.

Using this mod seems to severely degrade the quality of anti-aliasing on when resolution scaling is set to the base 100%, for some reason. So if I plan not to scale I have to disable the mod. (yes, anti-aliasing is enabled in video settings, always).

This mod seems to cause audio stuttering on my I9 9900k, rtx 4090 64gb ram rig. Super noticeable when listening to the radio :(

i am also, and i am ok, maybe you should uninstall all mod and assets except this mod, and play game at the new game. and press f10,you can test it.

Even though i have enabled the mod, the menu/slider doesn't appear after pressing F10 or CTRL+R, can't use at all.

this mod is valid.
300-500% is the setting part. if you do not set it , press F10, you will see 100-300%.
100-300% is default part ,and 300-500% is added part.
and the best is 300%, do not set more than 300

Daylight Classic + Softer Shadows + Dynamic Resolution + Real Neutral LUT,Thank you, these four mods are still valid until December 2024.

I respect and thank every mod creator, but I have to admit that after 9 years, the simplest and most effective mods in terms of light and shadow effects are still those from 8 years ago.

this 4 mods combination still cannot be replaced, such as' Render It! ',' Lumina ', and' Relight '. Although these complex mods are more flexible and free, they require patience to adjust the values. Most players just want to achieve a simple and beautiful light and shadow effect.

What I most want to adjust is the part of the building that faces away from the light. The latest Mod [Natural Lighting] can replace [Daylight Classic], but still cannot fully replace [Softer Shadows]

The slider only on 300-500% now. There no option to go below it like 100-250. This aint work for lower spec

Slider doesn't appear for me either Übermensch. Also running 1.17.1-f4.

Slider does not appear during game play no matter how many times I tap LEFT CTRL+R or F10. Using V1.17.1-f4.

@ALPHABYTE don't ,forget the GPU temperature after doing that much upsacaling.

people xd, it is normal that much higher resolution demands much more from GPU, for instance my RTX 3080 can do 30-50 FPS at 3840x2160 and 200% scaling. It makes game look so much better, much sharper and edges are much less jagged. It is worth it, because this game is anyway CPU limited

dynamic resolution works fine if youre not using render it. since dr has its own method of aa that cant be disabled and conflicts with render it. If u want stable fps or better looking game at a basic level use both dynamic and render it. If u want the absolute best imo just render it by itself and configure it accordingly.

@dmozero2 you might have other mod issues. Use the Hotels & Retreats compatible modlist.

I subscribed to this mod, and it was working fine a couple days ago. Today, I opened up my city and it looked horrible. Dynamic Resolution would not open using the hot keys. I checked my Content Manager and it's not in my list of mods at all, but I'm still subscribed to it as shown Steam. Any idea what could be going on here?
