when launching l4d2. set at the main menu and wait for the downloader to come up and finish downloading the mod. it's much like GMOD. if you're unsure whether the workshop mods are active subscribe to a main menu music mod. after everything is activated and download your main menu music will change. just a spiffy tip for any future endevours
