@dv8340 Gotta use the alternate mod launcher for all the mods to work. Firaxis broke their own mod launcher.
dv8340 14 NOV 2020 a las 9:42
no longer working with new launcher apparently...going to miss this one big time!!
Kasual 1 NOV 2019 a las 14:58
Here's a problem I found, this doesn't work on reapers. Haven't used it enough to see other units like skirms and templars but so far my reaper is still wearing the default stuff while all my other troops have their armor on. Great mod though :)
Mirahael 15 AGO 2019 a las 14:51
Is the Mec Trooper Mod compatible with this? As in do the Mec Troopers use their specialised Underlay or do they just appear buggedly in the Avenger in their full MECs?
Shavy 14 MAR 2019 a las 15:07
lw2?
Zorlond 30 OCT 2018 a las 4:07
Also nice when you've got some armor patterns set that make the underlay look gawd-awful.
Haven 20 ABR 2018 a las 9:47
Nice mod. Would you update this mod to work with faction heroes/classes?
Jewels 30 DIC 2017 a las 17:58
@Spinosaurus that is incredibly tedious and unmanagable, what he actually should do is alter the helmets back to vanilla ...
T'erissk 30 DIC 2017 a las 17:57
@Doc, just mnaully take hem off in the barracks, go tothe World View map, hen back out into the avenger, and it'll change.
Doc 30 DIC 2017 a las 14:34
Is it possible for a version of this but they don't wear their helmets? Like the rest of their armor but no helmets?

Doing a star wars game and it would be great. I'll even do it myself if someone could point out a way to.
T'erissk 30 AGO 2017 a las 16:24
@Arkhangel, Isn't that for controller users though?
Arkhangel 30 AGO 2017 a las 3:03
found the problem> it's the Debug cam mod. works fine now. though we should get an updated version to include the faction heroes. ;)
Ayser 30 AGO 2017 a las 2:07
I've noticed that this mod does not apply to the faction heroes. Other than that, this has been working just fine for me so far.
Ushi 29 AGO 2017 a las 21:42
@Arkhangel: At least not without WotC, did Gatecrasher 2 days ago with 6 troopers.
Arkhangel 29 AGO 2017 a las 17:32
that... or there's some sort of stupid "you must have four troopers on Gatecrasher" limit.. which would explain why LW2 just did away with that specific mission entirely and replaced it with a troop column, trying again.
Arkhangel 29 AGO 2017 a las 16:59
@Rabid: it doesn't. not with non-vanilla stuff, anyways. I've crashed after three Gatecrashers now and it's the only one of its type that isn't a WoTC made mod so far.
T'erissk 29 AGO 2017 a las 14:11
@Rabid Dutchman, With no crashes?
Rabid Dutchman 29 AGO 2017 a las 14:10
@InvincibleMan38 I just confirmed that it works in WotC
T'erissk 29 AGO 2017 a las 13:26
@InvincibleMan38, Does it not work with WotC on?
LockeEdwards 29 AGO 2017 a las 6:43
can we get a WOTC version of this?
T'erissk 17 AGO 2017 a las 21:33
@Khaynar, Take their helmets off in the view soldiers, then go to the global view, then back to the avanger. Everyone will be updated.
Greynir 17 AGO 2017 a las 12:50
Is there a way to not have their helmets on show?
Wet Dog Squad 18 JUL 2017 a las 17:51
Thank you for this! I'm curious, though, is it possible to make a mod that has Dark VIPs keep their armor? I suppose not, considering how civilian/VIP animations are tied to their outfits. Still, it would be awesome to actually have my cyber-armed ADVENT administrator actually keep their prosthetic when they show up as a target.
Bartinga 4 JUL 2017 a las 7:34
Great mod. Thanks. Can you do something like this for engineers and scientists?
Arkhangel 18 JUN 2017 a las 7:03
Works just fine with LW2, for troopers, anyways.
LeMarteau 15 MAR 2017 a las 10:28
@RealityMachina Would that be possible to make (custom) VIPs wear their armor on the Avenger? Is that a variant to this mod that you would do? :)
T'erissk 31 ENE 2017 a las 13:56
It works! I lovei t! WHy they didn't havethis in vanilla, is beyond me.
Phantom 22 ENE 2017 a las 11:18
for now everything is working fine with this mod. the only thing is that soldiers who are infiltrating are still shown in the avenger (only cosmetic). Probably a LW2 bug itself or something in combination with SWR Full crew avenger mod. Thanks
Phantom 20 ENE 2017 a las 7:14
kk thanks i try it out and let you know if something is wrong
RealityMachina  [autor] 20 ENE 2017 a las 7:02
I have yet to see anything in LW2's code that would indicate this wouldn't work, don't really use this mod though, someone else will need to confirm that.
Phantom 20 ENE 2017 a las 5:59
compatibel with LW2? thanks
=[NK]= Col. Jack O'Neil 9 NOV 2016 a las 23:40
There's a mod for increasing people on avenger
루시퍼 9 NOV 2016 a las 23:27
thx for good mod! i have question.
how to increase people in avenger? i can barely see my squads. any suggestion?
Sofakingcool 5 NOV 2016 a las 17:08
@RealityMachina
Can you make it so that the mod has an option for the soldiers' helmets be toggled off? :D

Mr. Bibbles 20 OCT 2016 a las 12:33
Is there anyway of making a similar mod that removes helmets, upper / lower face props in the memorial pictures?
RealityMachina  [autor] 20 OCT 2016 a las 8:07
@E3245

I mean if you just want certain bodyparts to be selected and don't care how it's done, you could use a brute force of manually adding acceptable templates in the XGCharacterGenerator override, it just wouldn't be as elegant as an actual whitelisting solution because the content system is not that elastic when it comes to being modified. You can change the things that uses it far more easily than changing the system itself.
∑3245 19 OCT 2016 a las 23:46
@RealityMachina
For 2, I think its possible, since XGCharacterGenerator isn't tied down to any native code. Maybe just modify the function RandomizeSetBodyPart, or make several new functions from the mentioned function for each bodypart that filter specific bodyparts from an array of template names from an ini.

Honestly though, I don't know what I'm talking about or saying, so I'll have to take your word for it.
RealityMachina  [autor] 19 OCT 2016 a las 23:25
@E3245

1. Yes that sounds doable enough.

2. I'm not sure if you could do this, however. (The game has chunks of the content system in native code, and those parts are the ones that would be most involved with what you're asking)
∑3245 19 OCT 2016 a las 18:41
I've got several questions, that I just thought of.

1. Is it possible to override XGCharacterGenerator or write a new version of that particular script that allows civilians the scientists, engineers, and civilians to only use the default head templates and nothing else?

2. What about making a system with inis that whitelist certain bodypart templates, so that soldiers can only get those bodyparts and not any other that are added by other mods?
_b1ack0ut 19 OCT 2016 a las 15:53
@sizesixteens Ditto
SizeSixteens 17 OCT 2016 a las 14:18
@AoD_lexandro Same reason I'm here :)
AoD_lexandro 17 OCT 2016 a las 9:52
Very nice. Now my ME characters wont look stupid in the Avenger ant farm. Thumbs up.
Struecker 16 OCT 2016 a las 5:03
Ditto @Meatbang. RealityMachina is squared away. Thanks!
Meatbang 15 OCT 2016 a las 19:49
RealityMachina seems to know exactly what mods people want without a lot of people askign for it.

It's sort of amazing.
Arkhangel 15 OCT 2016 a las 15:08
@reality: btw, not sure if it is the Asari mod, but it seems to be disabling the Human version of Liara's face.

and once again, glad I talked to ya and asked about a mod like this ;)
RealityMachina  [autor] 15 OCT 2016 a las 12:37
@Lago

Underlays are defined on a character template basis and core parts of pawn content loading is structured around that, while it's hypothetically possible for me to try overwriting all that, that's a lot more effort than I'm willing to put in at the moment.
Beagle 15 OCT 2016 a las 8:50
This is a cool idea, thanks.
Lago 15 OCT 2016 a las 7:09
Is it hypothetically possible to have them wear a particular armour rather than their equipped armour? The game remembers customisation when you change armour set so maybe it'd be possible to create an Off Duty set people can equip, customise and then unequip.
Skade 15 OCT 2016 a las 2:58
Ah ! Was waiting fgor a mod like that for a very long time ! Thanks !

On a side note, could it be possible to make the scientists wear lab coats on the Avenger too ?
Jewels 14 OCT 2016 a las 23:05
Nice mod though, not for me but good work
