The Puzzle isn't that hard if you plan carefully and get the most out of your tools. Plan ahead, save a hammer and youll have a good chance of swimming in skeletons.

I personally love the fossil game. It provides a nice puzzle, with good rewards.

Thank god,the original fossil game is annoying,I don't know what I am doing and breaking the slightest thing ends it,i've never got a fossil because of that damn minigame but now I might be able to.

@Toni-Technaclaw: If you have other mods installed there could be a compatibility issue which is causing the crash. If you don't have any other mods installed then you may need to uninstall and reinstall the game.

Everytime I Used it the Starbound would freeze and the Fossil Game wouldn't load

@Toni-Technaclaw: Are you sure? I have it loaded in my game and I was able to play the fossil game without any issues. Are you saying its crashing immediately when starting up Starbound or somewhere else while playing?

can you make a mod that just makes the fossil game not randomly end by breaking the fossil? I have nearly every fossil i find shatter on my second or third move and feel the fossil game is rigged

The fossil minigame is literally so easy, if you know, what you're doing. :D Of course, sometimes you fail, but that's the fun!

the minigame is ez if your know how to do it so this is kinda pointless

Dude. This is some of the easiest stuff to do ever . Cmon man,You just gotta think. I've never died doing a fossil game and I've failed maybe 10 in total,In the other hand,Succeeded in 50+. So eh. I just wish that the alien trees didnt look like knockoff twinkies that wanted to be colourful

I actually love the fossil minigame, but I just wanted to pop in and say I support this XD I can imagnine how aweful this would be for someone who doesn't like the minigame. I agree with the two people before me looking for versions that simply provide more tools, as well.

Thank the stars. When I first tried out the game, I couldn't figure out what it wanted me to do. Then once I did know what it wanted, I had to laugh at how near-impossible it was. I finally managed to complete a fossil, and wouldn't you know it, it's one of the giant five-piece projects so I couldn't even display it. With this I'll at least be able to finish something.

Where is fun now?
