45-50 FPS with a 4090 on a dedicated server. Not recommended.

I tried this map, it worked the very first time I opened it, but when I tried to go back to my Saved Game, it kept crashing.

Hope you are still planning to finish that wonderful map, hope your life has become more calm and work a little less hours for a good work-life-balance.

is anyone else having performans issues on this map i usually run the game on the highest graphics settings at 200+ fps but on this map im playing on middle graphics settings and get like 20fps

The map is nice but the most things are broken af and so the map is not very much fun anymore... Here some examples:
-Boss arenas have no ground so you get instant killed and your tames are gone forever
-A LOT of fake water where you jump into and then suddenly walk on the ground (if its deep water the fall damage kills you
-Many Caves have no ground and struckteres dissappear or appear just when you are directly standing next to it
It was fun to play with my friends on the map but all the bugs and non-finished areas kill your fun very quickly

I really want to add THIS mod map into my server, so my friends can be happy to play and its look unique too. And also perfect as last good map in Ark1 before Ark2 coming out for me.
BUT you said here after "Game on Convention" you will reupload via update it.... I waiting months now for it to be live here or there ):

@TheAlchemist hey man, I hope you keep updating this map. Its very cool that you've kept going for 5 years on a map and havent given up. I only hope you well in your career choice :)

@Hier, I'm having none of the issues you are having, if you can do one better, lets see your skills and have you fix the map then since you can't understand that this is just a hobby for the mod developer, he said it himself he's been busy and hasn't had as much time to work on it. The map works great, Secondly, who these days releases any content that doesn't contain bugs? AAA developers are dropping the ball, be patient, and kind, we could have nothing at all.

You writing that this map is 100% and 80% ready? In your Dreams maybe! This Map is full of Glitches, The Land is under Water, Things are grey and Polymorph...not ready rendering! THIS MAP IS UNPLAYABLE and you don`t "work" on it for YEARS! You NEVER make this Map ready and playable! Give me my Time back that i loose on this "Map"!

Why is this Map full of Water? All Spawn-Points are full of Water! Why you do this? To many Water over all! Water, Water, Water. 80% Water and 20% Land. Please remove it...this is not playable! I dont know why you release this Water-Map. Why you don`t make it FIRST ready and THEN release it? it`s 2022 and you have no time to "work" on it? Poor...really poor!

Anyone else having problem on single player with all the textures looking like there on Low settings even when you have them set to Medium or High?

@TheAlchemist - I have your map on my server and have exhausted all efforts in trying to get two of my players on to no avail. Even went into Mod folder of the game and deleted mods that were no longer subscribed too. Was hoping you could give some help as we really love this map and do not want to give it up.

I know i've said this a lot...but I promise I've not left this. I've just been really busy with my career and that of course takes priority over hobbies.

I am off from Dec 20 to Jan 3rd and have put a few days on the calendar to open this up again and take a crack at updating. Your continued support is important and means a lot to me, this map is 5 years old and people still like it. so I need to work on it.

Oh boy, another great map broken by the genesis update.

The map is really cool but I noticed that the barriers are a bit janky and the map is off center :D

Something on an update some time ago causes a low frame rate, 30fps, It is still there on the new system using a 3070TI where The Island runs from 85 to 135 fps all max settings. It's playable in spite of that throttled rate. Anyhow, the Genesis 1 update messed up the water on this and several other mod maps making it too transparent.

Mods, und Maps waren schon immer eine Freiwillige Angelegenheit, und jetzt kommst du daher, und Sagst, dass du nur noch etwas an der Map machst, wenn mann dich Betzahlt! Dann Behalte sie für dich, und lass es sein zu Moden, die Map ist ja so wie es Beschrieben wird noch nicht mal Fertiggestellt.

Yeah... I know man I'm sucking on updates. I'd be lying if I said my day job has been easy. I'm in crunch since March of last year. It's been rough. I want to update the maps I just do not have time and when I do, i'm exhausted. I'm sorry everyone I do love these maps. I'm trying to find time...it's just not coming.

This map is terrible, 80% fps drop and no supply drops to get off the map... need a flyer to get to an Obelisk. Also, can't run any bosses here as disabling undermesh killing does not stop you from being insta killed when teleporting to a boss arena. Do not recommend, highly.

looks like the Bossfigts are broken
