Depending on what they do, I might not need more than this mod and like personal tweaks. Crossing my fingers cause an expanded better vanilla on a better engine would satisfy a majority of what I want. I like all the expanded town mods for example and depending on the era they do, we could end up with more minor factions to mess with.

What're your main hopes with Kenshi 2 atm?

That's fair, so I thought to just mess around with the faction populating given the opportunity, if Kenshi 2 does a similar thing and nothing much changes in the modding tool. Gate guard residents will only fill up to the number of gates in the town, so if you wanted to really pump their numbers up, it'd have to be squad numbers. And since the AI package has the excessive guards guarding the town, it would free up building space if that's needed. Though the barracks could become quite the clown car lmao.

I never put any emphasis on the Shinobi's

Oh funnily enough, the one faction change you did for Mongrel btw, actually took out the Shinobi tower with another barracks group inside it instead cause of the increase of priorities and numbers. If I set the thief guild to the highest priority, they returned.

And I have to thank you sorta indirectly too cause I found out a minor faction mod forgot they left a lot of the market stall crap in their shit and polluted things. I saw market stall stuff while checking the Mongrel faction and definitely didn't remember putting those in. Sorry, I had to rant on tangent for a bit.

Fuck, hadn't exactly thought about the playtesting mostly because I'm messing around with LOK and rearranging modded and untouched character to sorta match the scaling going on there. Your mod helps cut out a good chunk of the work for vanilla stuff.

But yeah, playtesting would be a pain in the arse more so, god speed. Also, fucking wished they didn't leave in stuff that never got used, natural armor looked so cool until I realized it don't work. A bummer of a concept, yet somehow backpack/belt armor can work but you can't assign a backpack clothing to an animal otherwise that would've been a fun alternative.

editing was the easy part.
playtesting it was the hard part after many adjustments considering also had to keep reloading the game. couple hundred hours of gameplay was dedicated just to testing it all including player feedback.

Honest to god, I've been essentially using your mod as a starting base for doing the same number and stat changes to a whole modded list of my own making, and I gotta respect the effort alone of editing it all by hand. If Kenshi 2 is all manner of fucked, I'll be willing to help out editing for the mod port doing the tedious number shifting.

@Hatsune Neko Gaming I think you should add a warning to how OP the martial arts addition is, and reference to the mod that mitigates it, its more dangerous than it says.

Many people have been pissed about it, and you've said the same rude statement. No one is forcing me, but people have no clue it is going to be this OP, then end up in the same place I am, also there is no other mix of mods more well put together than the one you've made.

I play for a challenge, I have even more mods to make the game harder ontop of my own RP rules. But the martial arts is off its tits. No idea what that post of that bafoon is rambling about, does't relate at all, he seems possessed.

I made it this way because i do enjoy it. this is how i like the game. with everything i added.

so don't come onto my mod page and complain about the mod i made because you don't like it.
because every mod i made, is how i like the game. it's why i nearly always play with just my mods activated.

if people find bugs, i listen to suggestions about those.
there is a discussion above of another complaining about the very same thing.

@Hatsune Neko Gaming Making them 2,3,4 or even 1 hit your guys behind blocks doesn't make the game harder, it just makes the mechanics broken so you avoid taking their weapons or having to carry around a bag of iron poles you give them in return, idk how you or find this enjoyable, when you probably are the person that lures enemies to towns and takes their free loot anyway, playstyles are whatever, but this martial arts addition isn't right for most people. There is no mod that removes the martial arts, if I was you I would of made it separate to the mod for peoples convinience, because no doubt this part would get the most hate. I shouldn't have to make my own mod when there is already someone as skilled as yourelf to do it, besides flooding the workshop with copied mods is disgusting, regurgitating.

because as i have mentioned before.
if i don't find it hard enough, i will adjust it to make it harder. and this made it harder.
it's also made disarming NPCs for their weapons more dangerous.

you have to remember, i made this mod for myself and my playstyle. i share it for others to enjoy as well. if you don't like it, don't use it.

or go make your own version. without directly ripping off mine.
also there are mods that patch that part out.
i just don't list them because i don't agree with the patch.

and Kenshi is not realistic. it's only based on realism. like all video games are.

it should not as it changes only NPCs and animals.
so in reality this mod is very vanilla and only caused issues when characters were removed by the Devs. which has long since been fixed.

Genesis is known to cause crashes.
and after using that mod, its best to start a new game. as that mod changes way to much.

I imported my save from Genesis mod and changed the mods because my game was crashing my pc, no idea why, but after importing there is no effect from group combat, it is in top load order, im guessing Ill need to restart from scratch maybe even reinstall the game

I try using Stronger Group Combat along with Bigger, Badder Bosses and The Meek Shall Inherit. However that will not works. It seems that they are not compatible. Bosses are still about 90+ statistics, not getting stronger.

I try changing mod order. However no matter if I place Stronger Group Combat before or after Bigger, Badder Bosses and The Meek Shall Inherit, everything is the same.

I wonder if there are possible way to use these mods at the same time to have both very strong bosses and very strong non-boss NPCs?

Hello. I really like your mods but now I have some questions about them.

When using Stronger Group Combat, many NPCs are much stronger than vanilla game. However bosses are not getting really strong. For example, Hundred Guardians has about 80+ statistics and possibly 90+ sometimes, while The Five Invincibles including Esata have about 90+ statistics. It means that bosses are just a bit stronger that guardians.

I do not want such situation so I also try you mod Bigger, Badder Bosses and The Meek Shall Inherit. Under these two mod, bosses are really strong, like that The Five Invincibles haves statistics over 100+, but non-boss NPCs are not really buffed. Hundred Guardians has about 70 statistics and Holy Sentinels have only 40+ statistics. They are even weaker than many bandits in Stronger Group Combat.

I deleted every Mongrel entry from your mod and everything is back to normal. It must have something to do how the resident system is working. Sorry I cannot give a better explanation because I could not find the root cause of the problem.

You do touch the mongrel faction residents list though. Looks like you tried to boost the number of guards, I would assume so that they wouldn't die to fogmen. Because of how the resident system works though this is causing other lower priority squads to not spawn, including those shops mentioned below.

Better way to increase guard numbers would be to do so in the squads themselves, since then they'd take the same number of buildings.
