Correct, if they are still using the old workshop assets with the prior linking, they will not work. All they need to do is add this item to theirs again and update and it should work fine. Needless to say, I have no control over that, but it sounds like you are already addressing the right people for that.

I will say it technically doesn't work in the UDW mod... but that's because the creator probably would need to update it to the new links. But I'm in their Discord so it shouldn't be too difficult to achieve.

Yes! That worked! Good job, and thank you for responding years after you made this and taking the time to fix it. Now I can actually play the game without having to get someone else to take things out of the chest for me.

Alright had I done like 5 extra minutes of research yesterday this would have been obvious but it should be universally fixed now.
The original files are now hosted directly through Steam, so any issues with file links should no longer be present. The workshop item should have been updated to reflect this. I don't know if you need to resubscribe (I would hope in this day and age that is unnecessary), but it seems to have accepted the change as far as I can tell.

Let me know if any of you are still having issues though.

i have the same issue as Upset Pancake from 15 Oct, now 17 Oct the issue persists, i can't load or use the chests, same error msg.

That's because i don't have the original files on my pc (Since i had to format the Drive) and i can't download the new files again, they are down.

I verified the files are still loading and everything is still available for download. On my end there is no issue. I did reupload the items just in case, but I cannot see anything wrong on the workshop end. I would just give it another go and see if the issue still persists. Hopefully it should load properly now.

I feel like you're probably not still around and keeping your mods updated (hey, good job if you are) since this was 2016, last updated in 2017. But there's a game that uses this called Ultimate Dangan Werewolf. The game itself isn't really important, what is important is they use the chests. I switched to a new PC in the same location, and now I can't load those chests. Also it says "Failed to load model (.obj)" and "Load image failed unsupported format" I'm not sure if there's an issue with the Google Drive, but you could rehost the file for good measure. Feel free to add me if you want. There's a bit more info I could give but this comment I don't expect you to see might get quite long with the copy/pasting.

hello. i sometimes get a strange glitch using the chest in my mod. players when they right click and search often cant search or the game just hangs for them. i havent dont anything to the chest except make it a bit larger. you can take a look for yourself in my mod and see if you get the problem. it does not affect me directly, just the other players.

At first I thought Shinji was asking FoXX(); to contact Clank's author, but after re-reading, it occurred to me that Sunshine must be the intended audience. That was a weird moment. :)

I never contacted or have been contacted about permission to use this item in a collection or custom game. Everyone is free to use this item if they so choose. It would make more sense to contact the author directly via the workshop.

The author of the clank workshop item has a broken version of the chest. Please contact the author of the workshop item in question and ask him or her to update chests to use the fixed version..

I checked the present version of the mod. All files loaded, yes.

I'm not entirely sure what the problem is without more input, but if you have an old savegame that used these chests and try to load it, it will likely access the old files which don't work anymore. Try putting a completely new chest on your table from the current workshop file. That should work, I hope. I just tried loading the file again in the game and it worked just fine.

Actually all 3 give 404 errors. It's because Dropbox killed public folders. Either the share urls will need updated or it should be re-uploaded to a more permanent and appropriate location like pastebin (not paste.ee please... think of the mac users!) and imgur.

The textures for the silver and copper chests now give a 404.

you would have to save out the game board (go to game > save game and create a save) whenever you quit hosting. that will save everything including chests and contents. if you have to keep track of a bunch of chests, consider naming them or giving them descriptions that will tell you whose they are. next time you host, you just load up your save and everything will be the way you left it. everyone will have access to all chests, as far as i know there's no way to restrict individual players to just one chest. everyone kind of has to keep track of their own chest.

so question.. if im hosting a poker game or something.. someone puts their chips in these chests, and leaves. if they come back next time i play, will they have access to the chips that were in these chests? And how? Thanks!
