does this works on singleplayer?

Not sure if this is still being maintained but it seems like this addon has trouble trying to detect this kind of server lag/crashing at least with the default values used (or maybe this would be considered beyond what the addon is capable of handling).

Testing on my server, if you spawn a handful of these but not enough to crash the server within seconds. The lag detector will detect some lag but then it will say it has subsided after a minute. I guess I would have to figure out a more suitable configuration in that case?

The addon does well at detecting lag and executing the commands when spamming a bunch of props in a tight location.

work without ulx?
A_pet_tick 18 dec. 2020 la 21:27
Ok so this breaks stormfox. Why? How even? I spent so much time disabling addons individially. How is this the culprit lol

As in it prevents that addon from parsing any presets set

This conflicts with Weapon Editor and Replacer

Amazing work Buzz! Thank you so much

Not seeing that. Ran stock sandbox + StormFox + lagdetector. SF reported the presence of map entities, and SF appeared fully functional. Can you give me more details? Screenshots of errors in SF?
Othereum 23 sept. 2017 la 7:15
map entities are disabled when i use with this

Wanna provide a little more information than "incompatible with stormfox" ?

That's correct -- chaining should work just like that. Thanks for the feedback. Glad to know this is helpful for folks.

I haven't had to try it yet, but I can chain commands using lagexecute_meltdown, right? So, I could set that to something like "gmod_admin_cleanup; lagdet_clearcount" and it will clean up the server and reset the counter? I can also see having a separate command in case you expect some lag, and don't want LagDetector to kick in while something is happening. I appreciate this mod a lot, thank you for looking into a solution.
Buzz  [autor] 24 iun. 2017 la 9:46
So, what I think I'll end up adding is a server-side console command "lagdet_clearcount", which simply clears the current lag frame count. This can be used as part of the command set issued when running meltdown, etc. Sound reasonable? I'm making it a console command rather than just a parameter for meltdown because I could imagine cases where folks might want to clear the count irrespective of any lag detection.
Buzz  [autor] 24 iun. 2017 la 9:03
Hmm... I see what you're saying. I can add another option to reset appropriately. Thanks for the info. Will update soon.
Master Anyon 6 iun. 2017 la 11:41
I do like LagDetector, but I've noticed a slight issue that I'm not sure if it has been resolved and I am to dumb to see it. So, lagexecute_meltdown works and executes the command I've given it, but it doesn't reset (or have the option to reset) LagCount, so if someone decides to lag the server immediately after the cleanup command has been executed, LagCount keeps counting up to infinity and never resets. Is there a way to reset LagCount to 0 when lagexecute_meltdown is executed?
