@sherpa: No, the amount of time that passes is still the same. As mentioned in the description, all changes are purely cosmetic.

Is this a game balance change? Presumably, time advancing whilst travelling on the ship is related to balance?

@gyozo This mod already does that. If you look at the description for the other mod, they took the code from this mod, so they both do exactly the same thing.

To be Honest I've tried everything I know to do and it just doesn't work for me idk - seems to work for some but i'd say the majority are finding this to be flawed in some way or not working as intended.

@BlueRaja Thanks, I understand that was true years ago - when I last played, at least. If there were no patches released (which I doubt as it's a very old title), it should still be true, so no update is needed. Good stuff, thanks!

@Csimbi The Github link is in the description. However everytime I've looked into claims that the mod is broken, it turns out they were either having other issues, or misunderstood what the mod does.

I asked years ago about how this mod was built, so I could have fixed it years ago. No know-how, no fix.

For all people having issues thinking this mod is not working, check if Zip Mode is enabled or not in Gameplay settings.

I reinstalled the game recently and this was toggled off, causing me to think the game was running 'sluggish' and thinking this mod was not functioning.

Can confirm it does not work for me either, on a clean install with the alternative launcher and only this mod activated. Still getting every animation.

@BlueRaja Oh, thanks for the clarification, think I got it working now!

Might be unrelated to yours as I do have a few other mods, tho for some reason the 'animation' for any of the drones doesnt work anymore, it just shows the person as the drone flies off doing its thing before continuing the game like normal - any ideas or other mods to fix or even just skip all some of the cinematics in missions?

@BlueRaja Tried with AML instant crash although I'm not trying with a new game.
2017 was the last update soo its understandable, ppl using 100+ mods from 2020 upwards sooner or later will run into conflicts with this mod. Great idea tho.

@Treeky It definitely still works. The comments below either misunderstand what the mod does, or are having issues with the default mod launcher not enabling mods (try the community "alternative mod launcher" instead)
