Has this mod been updated to be compatible with Airports and the new game update?

I'm still using this mod, I will explain why:
BloodyPenguin's old Prop And Tree Anarchy still works and I use it. It isn't compatible with the new Tree Anarchy though, which means if I were to switch to that I'd need the new Prop Anarchy as well. That relies on Extended Managers Library which is still in beta and is incompatible with Prop Line Tool (if I remember correctly). I can go without PLT but i'd rather wait until EML is stable.

@LemonsterOG yeah, I use Move It to move the tree which will also trigger the rotation, but also not ideal as I can't rotate the tree manually with move it like the other props (at least on my game doesn't work)

actually I'm thinking more precise control could be added to move it

@flep -- I agree. There is a workaround...kinda...Move It. That's the best I got for ya.

Amazing tool. It would be nice if once a tree was on the desired position, we could press a key to disable rotation. Sometimes I want a tree on a specific position and when I click to place it, it rotates again

@Wie - Sorry for answering 3 months late, but the most likely cause for that would be that your brush is set to the maximum value. That causes multiple placements when clicking once.

@Wie Try lowering the intensity of tree brush - tuning it down to ~0.1 instead of default 1 fixed that issue for me.

Sometimes when placing trees i place like 2-4 trees at once with a single click...idk if this is a mouse issue or has something to do with this or another placement mod...just asking if someone has experienced similar issue

This was a long time ago. This mod has some later fixes!

Random Tree Rotation for Natural Disasters by Jadazzz claims that there was a bug created by the Natural Disasters DLC and that he took a copy of this mod, found the error, fixed it & now has the 'debugged' version on the workshop as well.

that's right, it just increases the tree detail render distance so this mod produces better results ;)

the mod does not need Ultimate Level Of Detail (ULOD) to work, in my case I do not subscribe to ULOD because it affects my performance

Very strange. The mod does not change the vertical position of the trees in any way.

Do you have Unlimited Trees and Tree Snapping, as Avanya explained a few comments back? Because those mods are incompatible.

There are also a few other mods that have their own version of Random Tree Rotation integrated because they are incompatible with this mod. I think "Shisho" and "Tree Movement Control".

I had problems with floating trees as well. When I deleted the mod the problem disappeared (with new trees, the old ones were still floating). Maybe it's caused by an incompatibility with another mod or something. I'll probably download it again at a later point and try to figure it out because it is a very great mod (I don't know why it isn't built into the game itself to be honest). Hopefully I can figure it out in the near future; either way you are an awesome modder boformer, keep up the good work!

With that mod, randomly rotated trees will be visible from a further distance.

A favourite mod, need to turn it off now and again when the blinkies get the better of me, but ultimately that’s a purely cosmetic foible that’s nothing to be worrying about in the long run. City looks so much better in bo-forming mode! Cheers
