Today I found out that Eco has left the modding, because toxic people harass her day in and out with negativity about her mods and it has broken her. It makes me sad to hear and I hope she gets better soon.

I just wanted to say that me, my brother and nephew love and appreciate ALL the work you do for the modding community for Ark. I wish more people would tell all of you modders that what you are doing is great! And not complain and bitch about things you get for free.

this still working in 2021? lot of ark patches have happened which tend to screw things up

@sandr are you open to distro'ing the source files for this mod?

@sweeps There is an option in steam's settings to display URLs when available. After enabling that, any mod you visit has the id listed in the URL. You really can't miss it. Mod authors grew tired of teaching people about this simple setting, so that is why you may be hearing it the first time.. Hope that helps.

Epic mod btw, this is the counter to how incredibly disappointed I was with the original Ark drums. I do wish there were like, just one or two more possible sounds that way you could make these insane tribal beats. mmmmmmmmmmm

Ich spiele Ark mit der offiziellen "primitive plus". Beim Versuch die Wardrums dort zu verwenden (Server bei G-portal), funktionierte der Mod nicht mit "primitive plus" zusammen.
Aktiviere ich dort die Mod wardrums dann wird "primitive plus" deaktiviert (Engramme etc. sind weg).
Nun meine Frage: Ist der Mod incompatibel mit "primitive plus"?

@cakethulu - I'm not entirely sure why you mentioned that you were a drummer? The sounds are meant to sound 'fake' and 'large'. They are meant to have an unrealistic, 'fun' approach. The aim for these drums was to be big and gritty, not clean, nice and 'realistic'. Also, let me assure you that the sounds weren't just a rack tom that had a substantial amount of 'gain' applied. That's not what gain is.

I don't want to rain on your parade, and frankly anything is an improvement over the vanilla sounds, but as a drummer, this is.... gross sounding. It sounds fake, like it's trying too hard to be epic, compared to how I would expect old-school wood & hide drums to sound.

Perhaps you could find samples of timpanis, japanese drums, or even some actual war drums? I would consider this https://youtu.be/LIfM4QbAN1M or this https://youtu.be/Q9kzrrw6FVY to be way more epic than the sound of a rack tom with tons of gain applied in a DAW.

cant update this mode on my server (g-portal automatic mod installer) its still True Wardrums 2.0

I just saw the video. Wow, this sounds legitimately intimidating. One thing that I keep seeing in Ark is that the sounds are always terribly done by the Devs, and these mods perfect them. I hope they step up their game, because this just straight outperforms the normal drums.
