@wastel: NP. The path AI seems to be very odd at times. Building a Cargo Station with multiple platforms is more tricky. Getting a human to Shift/Click on extra platforms is all very well. Getting the Cargo AI to do the same....

@ricl - i dont need help , thank you - all working perfect for me, its not a cargo port but a passenger port, no cargo trains needed there. I just wanted to give a hint .Had a bit hope there is a trick in youre station which would allow to rebuilt it to a nice cargo station :).
The station does exactly what i want it to do - thx again

I think that the game engine has taken the station as the closest it can get to the port when routing cargo trains. When the train gets there, it finally figures out that it is not possible to do so. It then despawns.

As I say, try putting a cargo station close by, with a road connection to the port and see if that helps.

You can see it on pic #3 - the destination is "BHF Kreuzfahrthafen" ( the name i gave the trainstation) - i opened the info window of the cargo train before i took the screenshot - so you can see it

@ricl - No that is not what they try - if i click them to see whch destination its the train station - i gave it a special name to check this

So it looks like the cargo trains are trying to reach the cargo port (and then giving up when the get as close as they can).

Try putting a cargo train terminal in close by (with a road connection to the port) and see if that helps.

You can upload to your Workshop (Steam/Cites Skyline) if you capture them via F12

@ricl - Just home from work and took 4 screenshots for you - problem is: no idea where to upload them for you as i dont use any upload spaces. Could send via mail if you like or any other way you suggest. Had luck and even could catch an arriving cargo train :)

@wastel : Strange. There is only a Station Track (the same as the built-in station). It should therefore work in just the same way also. Only the pedestrian paths have changed (and of course the orientation).

Can you post a rail connection layout? I am not sure if I can figure out why, but I'll have a go.

@Ricl, first a big thx for the nice station, looks and works nice ingame here. One strange thing happens - the station is attracting regional cargo trains - which cant be unloaded then and just despawn.

Well the modular one is supposed to take care of as many platforms as are required. This one is purely 2 platforms.

I think @#SFC#SaaRnitaeter means adding Platforms 3 & 4+.

@#SFC#SaaRnitaeter: I have widened them slightly in this version (from the 4m they have in the stock one).

I have made them wider in my modular one - is that mor what you were looking for?

Nice Station but maybe they can have a bit more platforms?
