@Inseerlink: I am active, indeed :) Sadly, any mod that changes hounds or bosses in any other way than this mod does, require quite a bit of work since they're handled by scripts that aren't easily overridable. It can probably all be done, though. You can ask one of the authors of the hound-adjustment mods if they would do it, or perhaps request someone to make it on Klei's DST Modding forum. I'm a bit too busy at the moment. The fundamental stuff is done by those mods, but they need an extra system to handle ramping all the variables.

btw, I accidentally came here looking for a mod that makes it so that any spawned bosses does not disappear once the season is over. Does anyone know about one?

I am looking for a harder balanced approach to the game, something like scaling boss timers, scaling boss numbers, scaling hounds timer, scaling hounds damage, bosses does not disappear if not dealt with, etc

I mean, this is probably to wrong place to write about this, I should probably open a discussion xD

There has been no change to the spawning patterns. All bosses have specific seasons and other conditions, determining when they can spawn, and the rest is up to randomness. Except for the one variable which this mod changes, which is a hard minimum on how many days MUST pass, before ANY boss can spawn. Think of it merely as the number of days you are guaranteed to be safe from bosses.

Well, figure out which day is mid-season to you. IIRC winter starts around day 20-21 in a default game. You can easily look up the season data online, to see roughly how long each season can be, and then estimate a number of days. When you have a number of days in mind, open the mod settings for this mod, and select the amount of days. Think of that number as: how many days you want to be safe, minus 1.

Just like you change settings for any other mod. You have to enable it specifically on the server. The regular Mods-menu does not work for server-only mods, like this one is. From the main menu, do this: Click "Play" => Click "Host Game" => Select your server (on the left) => Click the "Mods"-tab in the top. => Click on "Server Mods" => Scroll down to "Time Your Own Boss" in the list of mods => Click the brown square, so it has a V in it => Click the screw next to it, to setup the mod => Click "Resume World" at the bottom.

Please read the usage notes in the description. This mod never promised to be a sure thing. To make a mod that definitively changes the days between each boss spawn, would be very intrusive and complex.

0 = any time. Bosses spawn wherever they'd normally spawn. This mod just sets the overall limit, for how early they can start to spawn. Normally they can only spawn after 20 days or so. On 0, the game can spawn then from the start. There are other variables in place, for when to spawn each specific boss, but this setting is global for all of them.

Klei has fixed the bug concerning mod settings! :D
Settings should now be applied correctly when starting a server, instead of reverting to default settings.

The last update to DST broke all mods with settings in them. No matter what you set your options to, they are always reset to defaults when starting a server. Dedicated servers have another set of problems. Klei is working on it. There's nothing I can do :(

Thank you so much to all who use and RATE this mod! It is the second of my mods to receive a Steam-rating, and all but one of the ratings have been positive :D Thanks for that! It warms my heart. To that one person who gave it a bad rating, I'd love to know why, so I might improve the mod.

Due to Steam's weird rating system, the mod only gets 3 stars, because of the huge difference between the number of subscribers and the number of ratings, so 3 stars is the best I can get, with only 26 ratings. It's a bit weird, but that's how it works.

If you feel that this mod deserves more than 3 stars, please do rate, so we don't confuse people into thinking that this is only a 3-star mod.

Other than that, I have to refer to the description above: "There are several variables that factor in, when the game decides which boss to spawn and when. This just sets one of those, albeit the most important one. I cannot guarantee that a boss arrives at the exact day you choose!"
