@mongolteiko (if you ever will read this looking at date or your post) I dont know if you are Dutch. But many parts of the Netherlands are under sea level. That is why we have so many ♥♥♥♥♥ and Water Mills. To keep the water out. Might be intentional. So build ♥♥♥♥♥!!

Nice map BUT it keeps flooding in Europort area despite quay walls.

Ziet er erg goed uit. Valt allemaal niet mee om zo 1:1 mogelijk een kaart te maken in CS.

This one is not nice but excellent. In my opinion one of the best. I live in NL so I forgot that NL needs dikes at times. So one of my cities enjoyed flooding and so did I. Anyway keep up the good work and thanks a lot for all the work.

Leuk! Played this one for a while, it's very good. Just one suggestion; the edges on the rivers/canals seem a bit jagged/aliassed. Not sure if this is an engine limitation or if it could be fixed. But.. that's muggeziften! Mooie complexe map.

@heldsieger, This map was made before the European theme was added. Otherwise I would've made it in the European theme. If you want to use European buildings in this map, it's easiest if you use a mod to enable them.

As for the flooded buildings; it's because the shoreline is very fragile and parts of the map are below sealevel. The waterways are very complex and a small change can alter the waterflow. There is an oval basin you can use for pumps, which could prevent this.

I was really enjoying using this map but noticed two things, one of which seems to be a problem. First, the default style is not European. I can work around this somewhat by using zones and setting the style for each zone. The more important problem is that my buildings began telling me they were flooded, which of course upset the residents. I don't know how to work around this. I am not using any dams nor have I changed the landscape in any way so I don't know why flooding has become an issue.

@apd1004, ow that's a shame, I was hoping it would work with pumps. My solution is to use the siderivers for pumping, since they don't affect the flow of the main rivers, and to use the southern most streams for sewage. There will still be pollution, but not around the city at least.

Not only is the Maas current not strong enough to carry the sewage out, the current actually changed direction on me and started flowing inland. Now I have to relocate all my water pumps so they don't suck up pollution.
