@Chamëleon TBN, please how does one deactivate "∞".

This mod does it so easily, and couldn't build when unsubbed.

I decided just to make my own mod, allows to spend into negative balances but changes interest on your negative balance :)

@Jose Gaspar - and? you can use Vanilla unlimited money mod for this - do exactly the same - it just show you "∞" - just deactivate it, and you see, that you have negative credits... And if you use Game Anarchy Mod, you can even switch ingame between the various money mod settings. This mod here is not maintained by the creator since 8 years!!!

Compatibility Report complains about this mod, nit it works fine as far as I can tell.. So far have not found another mod that does what this does, Allows you to build even though you do not have enough money, just lets you go negative.

Great mod, I was able to go 70m in the red and pay it back years later.

About the change to the mod, if you're serious, that would just be like getting an In-game Loan. Unless you're just making a joke :). Thanks for the positive feedback

Such a great mod. Needs to be made to charge interest though, just so you don't become a certain country that owes trillions and has no way of repaying it that I can see.

Yeah I have it enabled, turned out the save file was corrupted, it works in my new game.

It doesn't actually work for me. I still can't build anything with a negative budget. IDK if I'm just doing mods wrong.

hey @Raciper, i believe that had to be or a diferent mod, or some hard changes would needed to be make it like you want it, since to code it with interest rates maybe a GUI for the rates with options to enable/disable them soa little bit of hassle i think. Sry

Any Chance to turn this into a credit line, where it charges interest on you negative balance to encourage staying positive? say adjustable from 0-100% default of 0% so operates like does currently. I personally would set it to 12% (1% a month). Even without this option, much prefer this over unlimited money.

this "mod" saved my city of 374k hab, a disaster happened and I ended up with -1M and with that I recovered my game

damnit this mod made me go to the verry last page to find it, hope it's v1.1 compatable if so this should move up :P exactly what i was looking for in a unlimied money but not really mod :P

@GordonDry yes the box is supposed to restart annoying at -2,147,483,648. I couldn't figure out how to completely remove the box, but when i initialy developed the mod , was with the intent of allowing the "mayor" to be in a some small debt. Maybe you should use the official UnlimitedMoney mod, or try to ask a more experienced modder to resolve that issue. Sry for not being so much of an assistance. Also i posted the mod with source code, so anyone should be able to try and change it.

Oh LOL! I haven't been able to play yet so I haven't tried disabling it. I guess I won't be able to try this mod immediately because I still need to spend all those money. LOOOOL! $___$

Yes, thats right. Also i've checked the unlimited money mod, and periodicaly (4 seconds in slowest game time) the mod set's your money to the game max ammout, so if you save and you disable the mod you still are a very very rich guy :) . Thanks for givind the mod a try.

Oh so this is much better than the unlimited money mod, because you can see how much money you have in debt. It doesn't change the value to infinite sign right?

Well kinda, you may say yes but this way you can see how much in debt you are and try to recover from it. But yes sort of.

Isn't this same with unlimited money mod?
