This is a tip for many people who've been saying that they dont see C:S mods on their game and. If you have the Epic Games version of Cities: Skylines, your mods are kept in a database, and to put it in your game, you must go to the downloader website, than check your folders, and extract it to "Epic Games City: Skylines Modding Folder" or "Cities: Skylines...". So yeah, Take note of that and THEN play the game.

Any plans doe a Domes Mod where you build everything under a dome like in The Expanse(Show/books) or Surviving Mars (Game) and instead of managing traffick, shuttles come and go to build population based on your build, or possibly there's a massive dome in the distance already and you just need to connect a transport road to it?

Paramiko, I think there's a folder icon on the thumbnail before you upload anything to the workshop. Clicking on that folder icon will allow you to find and modify the thumbnail.

It would be soo interesting having this as a second map during a game. Like, when you get enough upgrades you can travel to space from earth and transport goods and people from and back to the colony. Once you get the colony and upgrade enough things there, you get access to special tech and new buildings on earth. It's a must in this matter to be able to switch between the earth maps and the colony like if it were areas, in the same game.

Use the all 81 tiles unlock mod to make highway connections for in and outside, and you will have people coming in.

I cchanged the train station to gert it to work. I used a water/sewage mod. It's small, white and round. There's about 20 of them. Can't remember the name. I have approx. 35-40k ppl living and working. Lots of fun. Thanks for the idea and the save.

Great map and challenging missions. I have been playing now for about 5 hours and can safely say that this is one of the best maps that i have ever played. The challenge is not in the terrain but in the building of the city , this is usually the other way round in the other maps that I have played. Oh and also if you have troubles with the zero population issue then try not using the modern railway station, just use the normal one (It worked for me, so it might work for you). Anyway Thank you 4 for truly the best cities skylines map I have ever played.

@larryjr410 Make sure you plop the train station that comes with C:SL, NOT a custom asset from the workshop. I had a similar problem when using "Modern Train Station" Plopped the default and passengers arrived at once.

Hi Gap, I tried to replace one of the cargo station to a passenger, but I am still not getting any people into my cities, I literly waited for hours on my computer hoping for a train to come, I even when I shut the cargo station off, no trains arrived in the city, is there something that maybe I am not doing right, I really like the setup of this, and would like play this, and try this challenge, but its really challenging me haha any help would be great, thank you.

Just to say I got a sustainable city of 13k up and running: http://steamproxy.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=433902053 (view from Olympus Mons) - I nearly ran out of money, but a couple of loans pushed me over the profitability line and I clawed my way back from there. I moved the cargo station out to its own link to the backbone highway I built as it was clogging up the city centre and messed about with the existing road network, but the farm and commercial district are more or less still there. From here I can basically expand at my own pace. Next question is how I expand without the sewage hole overflowing (I can't seem to place sewage outlets without existing water). I wonder if I can fill the Grand Canyon with sewage...

Aha, I found the problem, all the budget sliders are set to 50% so schools can only service a fraction of their stated capacity, etc. Setting them back to 100% fixes the problem.

4 - weird, I must have messed up something else in my game. Will try poking at it some more. Thanks for the confirmation! BTW, I would suggest that it might be hard to find coal for that coal plant on Mars, but then I have no idea if there was biomass on Mars at one point...

(larryjr - try replacing one of the cargo stations with a regular commuter station, since this is the only way you get people into your city and I doubt you need 2 cargo stations right from the start)

I love the ideal of Mars, and I downloaded all the future building, to hopefully build a futuristic kind of city, my only problem, and I have tried several ways of setting up the train station, I plan neighborhood, and buildings, but I still can't get any population into the city, does anyone have any suggestions about how to bring the people in, you know like, if you build it they will come haha, just kidding, but I need help, but I really love that the creator of Mars, because one day hopefully I will be going to Mars for real haha, sorry love to joke, hopefully not offending anyone, but seriously, I do need help in bringing the population in.

Have various stats in this mod been nerfed? Wind plants only produce 2MW instead of the 8 in the description, schools only educate a fraction of the people in the description meaning you have to spam them to get educational coverage. It's a nice idea, just managed to break even but running into growth problems because of these building stats issues. If this isn't intended it'd be good to know so I can try to fix it (but if it's a feature, fair enough).
