It wasn't a very inventive story but there was a story that tied all the maps together. The short of it is that some miners discovered weird rocks that turned people insane and made them experience violent psychosis and hallucinations due to vapour / emissions from said rocks. In Ghosthunt 1 you're exploring a facility the miners will sent to. In Gh2 you're exploring the mines. In Gh3 you're exploring the base adjacent to the mines. In Gh2 you can find one of these weird rocks.
Dude please make another ghosthunt, I've played your maps at least 50 times by the nostalgia feel and GM_Paranormal is gold.

Any updates on that Hartley Asylum and Gm_Ghosthunt_Whiteforest? Or are those long gone projects?
I had the same issue. Installed episode 1 and 2, loaded a different map first, loaded ghosthunt 3, walls had missing textures and doors were errors right in spawn room. Forgot to load on episode 1 and 2 so I checked those off, restarted the map, walls had proper textures, doors were still errors.
I quit GMod, started up both episode 1 and 2 at least once so that the files were cached so that GMod could access them properly (is I'm assuming how it worked) and then everything appeared like normal.
If you installed episode 1 and 2 just for this map, RUN THEM AT LEAST ONCE INTO THE MAIN MENU AND THEN QUIT
Positive: Ai spawns are very good, the asylum is big (I like big stuff), you introduced "New things" too :)! I once saw 2 crowbar ghosts in the sewer area, spooky. I have a love and hate relationship with the creepy prison baby.
Negative:A path in the asylum is unrealistic, like when I saw a path into the sewer in the changing room. Also, The ending was okay (The helicopter event). Still a great map though.
