Thank goodness, vanilla sounds are very synthetic, this one is the most authentic sound pack so far, even though its impossible to replicate how sounds change depending on the environment, still has the kick and the loud waves, thanks a lot!

Excessive reverb/echo... not realistic; sounds like I'm having a gun battle in my bathroom.

This mod is very good, but the firing sounds of some weapons have not changed yet. Since this mod was released in 2015, apparently has not undergone any update, this mod is incomplete?

I've downloaded it and I don't even have the vanilla sounds. What's the porblem?

As I said one million times on this comment section, YES, the mod is outdated. You guys should try my newest IMURSM sound mod.

It doesn't seem to be working for me. I think it's out of date, however when it did work it was the best MOD in Insurgency. Really made you feel like you were in a firefight and cranked the intensity way up.

Really enjoy this mod! very realistic and really puts you into the intense battles that take place in this game.

btw, if you go into parameters in steam for this game, and add the command line +snd_restart, itll apply the command on startup so you dont have to type it

The snd_obstruction is just an option. It applies low pass filters for sounds happening behind buildings, walls, upstairs, downstairs, etc., making the experience even more immersive. I don't think you have to apply it everytime... try it and see how it works.

i already started on it lol.. i am now hooked on this game ..the sounds make so much difference..
just want to know for the new sounds do i have to put the obstrution enable command in everytime or its just needed once?

Could you bring Galil and RPK sounds in? I would play around with the Files but i have a few friends who will soon start the game. So they just can subscribe to the collection.

You can just do it by yourself. Download GFCScape and extract the sounds you want. Then compile them in a folder with the correct patches and convert it to .vpk using the application inside the game folder. Do whatever you want with the mod. Just keep the customised files to yourself. You're not authorized to upload any modified version of my mod without asking me.

I know it's really ♥♥♥♥♥♥ of me to ask this (and I'm sure you're too busy to do it even if you were willing to), but is it possible I could get this per gun, or at least per side? I really like the insurgent weapon sounds from another sound pack that also has a more urban sound to it's weapons, but I like the security weapon sounds from this one. I'm asking both authors, but the other one hasn't been active in quite a while....

Yup, this is really good. Don't know why it doesn't have 5 stars but, I guess not enoug people have shot guns to know what they really sound like.

Ah! It was the snd_restart! After playing my first game with this mod i realize ive been missing out! Great job!

Every gun sounds like it's being shot 10 feet in front of me when I fire it.

Make sure that you don't join any pure server neither install it over other soundmods with the same changing sound samples. It's not my fault. I don't have anything to do with it.
