@Beet This is an extremely late reply (over 3 years), but I wish to note for posterity that this is quite a bit different from the battle spear: compared to a normal spear, the battle spear has 33% more durability and deals 25% more damage, whereas this spear has 300% more durability, but no extra damage.

@Its Just Meanatoe this is in-line with all of the game's gold tools. They are all as strong as their flint counterparts but have 4x as many uses.

I like the mod, it seems logical that there would be a gold spear to go along with the tools, but it says sharper than the normal spear, but they have the same amount of damage according to the wiki (unless im stupid). Either way im subed to the mod and am gonna use it, its just something odd to me that I wanted to point out. Great mod, keep updating it, etc!

This mod is an instant subscribe if its changed to 34 damage and 600 uses. I only like using mods that are consistent with the rest of the game.

This should just increase durability. Golden Picks, Axes and Shovels dont make you Chop, Mine or dig faster. So why should this be able to kill faster?

I was just talking about how this same thing should be added yesterday! So happy!

Canyou make this inline with other gold items? I'm waiting to subscribe to this until that happens.

Goldenspear.zip needs to be named goldenspear.zip. Capitalization matters

(Fun fact: Gold is actually very weak and bendable, with it being a very soft metal!) Good mod otherwise, but as Hom-Sha-Bom said, its not in the gold lineage.
