Probably works better than actual planets.
:steammocking:
Fullercloth2201 28 nov. 2021 la 0:14
could still be used as you can make a real big asteroid witch has its own gravitational pull like irl
vizthex 4 nov. 2020 la 12:26
it's hard to believe planets are already 4 or 5 years old, damn.
Novum33 22 mart. 2020 la 13:05
please fix it
sakuhanaX3 18 nov. 2018 la 15:30
doesent work :steamsad:
Renay Edor 3 aug. 2018 la 21:19
Could you still update this? Even if planets make it defunct, asteroids with their own gravity is still semi-realistic, and as some others have said, their computers can't handle planets but still want the fun of fighting against natural gravity wells
[CF SGT] Lysander 29 mai 2018 la 14:51
Please keep this going. My computer cant handle planets. This is the only way for me to simulate it...
Ducky 2 febr. 2018 la 17:43
i wish this mod would update, had so much fun back in the day.

Master Anon 20 iul. 2017 la 9:25
can i put it on a ship and counteract "natural" gravity of a planet?
Iamus 22 ian. 2017 la 11:16
+Nikolas I'm not sure this mod works in that way. As stated in the description, it is a sphereical gravgen
Digi  [autor] 22 ian. 2017 la 2:32
Sure, but I think this is too old and out of date to be of any use.
Nikolas March 21 ian. 2017 la 20:49
i would like permission to use this mod to help create a jump interdictor please :D
Para 30 aug. 2016 la 13:15
I can run planets but I still wanted a mod to add natural gravity to asteroids
xCeezyx 29 aug. 2016 la 18:50
YES
pokeface119 13 aug. 2016 la 11:04
I'd say this is still important since (Some of us Can't Run Planets) adding gravity to asteriods seems legit.
Visentinel 24 iul. 2016 la 3:50
would love to see this working again

Digi  [autor] 20 mart. 2016 la 2:05
This mod seems to cause the game to freeze and crash without any errors after loading even an empty world in v01.126.007 and since it doesn't give me any errors I have no idea what causes it :(
Iamus 12 mart. 2016 la 11:41
@KOTRPA details help. A vauge "fix it" doesn;t give enough information to actually fix it.
Digi  [autor] 12 mart. 2016 la 9:07
There's nothing to fix from what I can see.
КОТЯРА 12 mart. 2016 la 8:29
PLEASE FIX IT FOR NEW UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!! PLEEEEASE!!!:steamhappy:
Big Ron 6 mart. 2016 la 13:51
Thank you Digi, I'll give it a shot!
Digi  [autor] 6 mart. 2016 la 7:16
Well I fixed the compile issues and it should work now unless something else got broken through the game updates.
Big Ron 5 mart. 2016 la 23:03
Doesn't work! typing the commands in the chat isn't doing anything :steamsad:
Lathy...or is it 5 mart. 2016 la 16:45
Hey, Digi, any chance you could be persuaded to bring this one back to life? Many moons around planets are actually captured asteroids, and it would be cool to be able to simulate this in-game.
Iamus 21 dec. 2015 la 23:40
I really enjoyed this mod, before planets. I have given it a positive review. I am just going through my subscriptions, and removing old/outdate/nolonger worked on, mods.

This was one of my most used mods, and I am impressed by the quality of the mod. It was really well done, and you should be proud. Thank you for hundreds of hours of enjoyment.
Aryx 21 nov. 2015 la 4:34
Good mod, it means that all DX9 users Can (kind of) enjoy planets :steamhappy:
Digi  [autor] 15 nov. 2015 la 20:45
@aaronfranke
Without the log I can't really help, upload it to pastebin.com or something.
Mr.Nobody 15 nov. 2015 la 20:21
and you can use it to still make huge grav cannons
Mr.Nobody 15 nov. 2015 la 20:20
you will be remembered you litterly gave me hours of entertainment here is a link of me messing with your mod i was enjoying it

"It should still work but there's no reason to work on it anymore XD"

This mod causes constant crashes when used on a world with planets, so no it doesn't work. From what I could gather from the logs, some issue with planets conflicting with the asteroid generator is causing this mod to crash the game to desktop.
Energy 15 nov. 2015 la 11:24
@Digi If you want to make somethign worth while for planets, add re-entry effects or effects when you break the speed of sound.
Digi  [autor] 15 nov. 2015 la 7:39
Nope, quite obsolete :P
Huge asteroids aren't good at all and you're better off making a custom planet instead which'll use way less RAM and have way more customization.
Energy 15 nov. 2015 la 7:33
This mod is not obsolete. It still has a use. You can give Gravity to your own made planets, or asteroids. It lost some of its use with this new planet update, but it still has a use.
Lonewolf 15 nov. 2015 la 1:55
Notice it was marked obsolete. Thanks for giving us gravity. This allowed us to do so much whilst waiting for planets.
𝖅𝖊𝖓𝖎𝖙𝖍𝖆𝖘 13 nov. 2015 la 22:49
Thank you for the effort taken; the planets update seems to render this both obsolete and bugged. My thanks for the wonderful work you had done prior!
MrFox 13 nov. 2015 la 17:55
Loved this mod Digi one of the best i have ever used!!! but now it time to retire this D;
OssomUmbra 12 nov. 2015 la 12:26
Thank you for letting us simulate planets until today, I hope you continue making new and brilliant mods!
goatstonail 5 nov. 2015 la 16:14
digi, sorry, i took a very long time to reply, Mass_limit is set to 0, not important now though, ive downloaded the planets Beta
lostsoul3471 23 oct. 2015 la 17:49
I can confirm Valyn's issue, and the fix as well. /ng create drops 2 fields and to get it back to normal, /ng remove to get rid of the dupe.
Valyn 23 oct. 2015 la 4:08
I seem to be getting a double effect for the mod after the update. using the /ng create one time will make two grav points. I have to use the /ng remove to remove one of the extra grav points
gornyakmaniac 23 oct. 2015 la 1:15
Thank you!
Digi  [autor] 23 oct. 2015 la 1:10
Fixed, hopefully no more surprises here xD
gornyakmaniac 22 oct. 2015 la 22:17
same, it's broken :(
