Doesn't work, in any and all of the settings in the config. April 2022

Twice I've had the mod crash and I've lost all my freezers and all the food inside them. What am I doing wrong?

Not working because cr4shmaster's component had been integrated into the game some months ago. So Afro's mod can find it, so it doesn't work. Use cr4shmaster's Icy Magical Pouch mod instead, it's worth the resources spent in crafting them.

its not working for me, it doesn't slow down spoilage at all, ive tried changing the spoilage rate to any of the settings to see if it made any difference and it didn't help, not even when i put it on no spoilage

this mod and milk mod is conflict,pls fix it, I love this mod and the milk mod

love the mod but i was wondering, is there a way for you to program the freezer to "freeze" the food to set the spoilage rate to zero. kinda like how the food counts down from fresh to stale to spoiled to rot....add a couple additional stages to go from fresh up to chilled to frozen. but make the frozen stage inedible till it "thaws" back to chilled.

When using this on no spoilage my stuff still spoils and quite quickly

when i try and play with this mod on it justs gives me the warning thing

It works great but the no spoilage option still makes juicy berries rot but at a very slow rate.

NOt only does it not work, ice seems to spoil waaay faster in the freezer.

Oh dear lord. So food still spoils at 99% reduced rate.. cry a river and get over it. The modder will fix it when they can and have time to-until then Who cares if food still spoils. I have mind set to 75% reduced spoilage-Bacon and Eggs now last for 50 some days before just 1 even spoils. I end up having to eat the food long before it's spoil timer EVER becomes an issue.
Also the only time of year the freezer is even used is during the Summer when food spoils faster then normal, and during the winter as a stockpile for meat to turn into jerky for cooking.

I know Afro says it works, but it still does not. Even if you config the mod as instructed before loading the world, food still spoils.

With this mod, you get disconnected when you try to catch mushroom spores. Can't get spores even with the console command.

Yep, set it to "never spoil" or whatever the option is and food was still spoiling.

Ricky, you're right. That's why I don't bother to reply very much anymore. People just don't take time to read.

did you guys change the settings before loading world, the default lets food spoil, just like the fridge, you need to change the setting

I'm guessing this mod hasn't been upkept and there is currently food spoilage. It's been like this for months to the point where I just don't run the mod anymore. Until we hear/see that it's been fixed I would suggest not subbing to this mod.

Thanks Afro1967, I knew it was a different mod and selected the correct mod. I actually figured it out. I thought I had installed your DST Storm Cellar mod, but I had actually installed a mod called DST Storeroom. After removing it and using the "cleaning" function of DST, I reinstalled all of the mods and it is now working correctly. I guess too many mods modifying spoilage caused some issues. Thanks again for all of your great mods and your responses. You do great work.

Blood Drake DS mods are not compatible with DST, you should download "DST Freezer".

I was using a version of this mod on RoG and wanted to continue using it on DST. I'm new to DST so not sure if I have to change, install, or do something different to get this mod to work, but currently the spoilage speed has not been reduced. Are there mods that would disrupt the spoilage rate? Storm Cellar for example.

nice mod but it would be better if you added a feature where you have to defrost food so it won't be that overpowered in comparison with the fridge

Cant play DST with friends with this mod... please can you fix it?

I like this mod a lot and I'm also having that same problem too where I set it to no spoilage, and my food still spoils, needs fixing
