I just did some quick testing in Debug mode and it seemed to be working okay for the purpose of snow accumulating in barrels.

Is it possible to use this mod just for the snow accumulation feature? I've long used Snow is Water, but it hasn't been updated to b42.

Everything was working but now I cannot do anything with my plumbed sink. There is a water collector one level up with water in it. I plumbed the sink. It used to let me fill water bottles or wash in the sink, but now there are no options.

I had the same issue. Solved it by crafting a new rain collector, not using ones already built on wold map.

Joey, you can plumb a house you built. I did it. I used log walls, added a door and built a roof. I put rain collectors on the roof and installed a sink below. It worked fine.

Does the same issue occur if you disable all other mods and test with only this mod activated?

Mod works perfectly the first time you enable it. Then next time you log out and play again, it seems the Right Click Crafting option is gone, nor can you plumb anything you hadn't connected. If anyone has a fix, that would rock, but otherwise make sure you do everything you need to in one session

buildings originally present on the map, not those built by the player, will still be designated as "Indoor" even if their walls or roof are demolished. As a result, installing a rain collector there will not collect rainwater.

Does this mean a structure that is entirely player-built, with a sink brought in from elsewhere, cannot be plumbed?

Make sure you have activated the mod in your save file.

This is a mod aimed at rolling back the rainwater catchment system, not the construction menu, so no additional features are planned.

How do you enable the wold right-click method of carpentry?? It's not available for me at all when I right click, even with hammer, nails, and planks on me...

Thank a lot for this mod! Would you be able to add the rest of the classic build menu? Since there isn't even a hotkey for the build menu, it's such a hassle to do so many clicks when building a wooden floor for example. Cheers!

This mod WILL NOT WORK if you construct a rain barrel using the new build menu.

The rain barrels will ONLY connect if you create a rain barrel using the old Right-click -> Carpentry -> Rain Collector method.

Ay man. I have a problem. Chrome sink is withing 3x3 grid of the rain collector, which is on higher floor. I plumbed the sink, and it doesn't detect the skink, only as debug tile option. Anything i can do with that?

Does this only work with rain barrels made through the right click menu?

Plumbing was working, after restart it won't give water or let me reconnect it

So I have downloaded the mod but cannot see where to enable it as it doesn't show on my mod list.

Left farmhouse north of riverside factory, i added rain collectors above the sink and above the washing machine, i managed to plumb the sink but no water comes through, and the washing machine wouldnt let me plumb it at all, any advice?

Can you make it collect snow? Like the B41, it can only collect rain, not snow. But in B42 it is already possible to collect both

i cant connect it also, is needed any other item? like some tube? i have the red plumb key on my hand and click on the sink and any new option appear to connect it and i have the water collertor above me

Plumbing can only be connected to the Rain Collector Barrel located on the floor above.

Ok i managed to make it work but huppon restart, my faucet doesn't take the water anymore from the bathtub that take it from the rain collector above it, here's my setup:
Roof - 4 Rain collectors
1st floor - 2 Bathtub
Ground floor - 2 Sink in range of the bathtubs (just below or 1 case away)
It was working when i used the debug menu to make it rain but now, upon restart, only the bathub seam to be connected and not the faucet, i struggle to find where it went wrong.

I was able to figure out what the issue I was having with the mod is. My sink existed on a part of the structure that was an addition I added to expand the space by tearing down the walls. I've now discovered I can only use the sink when I'm standing on the new addition I built. Not an issue at all and the mod works great! I hope this can help anyone having the same issue.
