Why don't they fix it in the water hazards chapter when you enter a new chapter with Stunstick, the game crashes immediately

i think the stunstick has no support for water hazards thats why it crashes

@Bob it also crashes in episode 2 in the chapter riding shotgun just before you meet the Advisor in the barn

it only crashes at some point during water hazard, and im relatively certain thats only 1 chapter
besides, just disable it after

nope it crashes onceit loads a new charpter, since it has to do with the maps. The mod is simple not optimised that is all. I stopped trying to make it work,not sure why it has such an inflated rating

Guys, it only crashes if your in a vehicle, I did some testing, and it also crashes when transitioning a level in the buggy, but when I did it on foot, no crash. Not sure if this info helps or not, but there you go

this mod made my game crash so hard it booted my steam offline and when i finally got it working again it displayed my garry's mod addons in half life 2. 10/10 had to verify the integrity of my game files :alyx:

Valve would have to fix that since all this does is change the damage and run 'stunstick_pickupable 1', nothing i can do about that

for some reason it crashes in the loading zone for Water Hazard

Causes a crash in d1_canals_06 and sometimes in d1_canals_05. has something to do with continuous play. but otherwise not sure whats causing it.

Might need to scale the damage down to 15 or 20, though 20 is probably most balanced.

I think in HL2DM, it did about 1.5 times the damage of the crowbar, which had its own damage increased for multiplayer.

I've upped the damage and (hopefully) fixed it not working for some folk, changes should public shortly

you should be able to pick up any stunstick that spawns in, so the one in the hallway should work

Do you pick up this weapon up from the 2 combine in the hallway, or is it supposed to spawn in, inventory, and if so how would i pick it up, just interact?
