AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH no hate to the map or anything i honestly think it can look very good but i actually want to end my computer each time the download is not in the subscription but i cant complain much cuz i can imagine the limitations being very annoying but still...

right click sfm an go to properties and go to dlc. then download the portal dlc. then click launch or play on sfm and there will be a screen saying launch sfm or sdk. click sdk and then press edit search path for selected mod. check off the white box in front of portal 2. then launch the map and the plants are fixed.

I'll simply explain it.

For the white lined foliage texture you have to install Portal DLC in SFM and then use SDK to get it working. (You can watch tutorials on this if you are new)

For the turbine's middle textures you have to install this addon >> https://steamproxy.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=475172799

These are the two things I've managed to do to get this piece of crap map to work in my animation. (Shameless plug)

Turbine if Valve removed it, and kept it waiting for 27 whole years. And it comes back at like 2054. And the name isn't ctf_turbine but ctf_old_turbine and had bird sounds. Or even be like a Halloween Map.

YEAH, It's fixed!!!
I dont know what's helped, (may be Quin) but finaly I have the plants!! I've downloaded the portal combat dlc from steam, and I've subscribed to Quins "Abandoned fix" (or something like that name). You can find it on his profile. Than I've started sfm/ lunch.sdk NOT SOURCE FILMMAKER. There click the last point - I dont know what its name but it's long :'D- and there you can add the portal2 files. Than lunch soutrce filmmaker and enjoy that awesome map!

I have Portal 2, however the plant textures still appear as white objects. As I'm sure you're aware many people have said that the download for the fix isn't working. What can I do to fix this because it's a great atmospheric map and I'd hate to see this bug ruin its potential. I look forward to an update, keep up the good work!

Use firefox. I only know that Mega works in firefox.

You download winrar. this is stuff google could tell you alot faster.

How do you extract a .rar file? I have Windows 8.

All you need to do is place the extracted content of the RAR file in the Usermod folder.

Installed Portal 2, got the Portal Content Pack, have that .rar file in the usermod folder, what else do I need? The vines are just wireframes!

Are you SURE you don't need Portal 2 for this? If you do, that's fine, I have it, just not installed. Because I downloaded that .rar file and placed it in the usermod folder, but the vines are still wireframes.
