It is deliberately made that all LAV parts only have a 31% repair probability, is that a bug? (I have level 10 mechanincs a level 6 maintenance)

And is there a way to fire trough the viewports?

Is there a way to close Engine Vent Lid?

Any chance to disable the one with the gun? Would love to add the LAV or armored vehicles into the game

the cadillac cage commando is indestructible to zombies but this isnt, does that make any sense

@G0N0R if you bothered to read descriptions you would see the ID literally at the bottom of the desc.

mounted guns would not be unbalanced at all... considering ammunition and maintenance. It doesnt make sense for every vehicle to have a broken gun.

i saw in another comment that the vehicle cant go bellow a certain treshold, does it mean the front protection and the hood are impossible to go ti 0%?

hello, i commented i the bug discussion but also comment here for visibility

there is a bug where zeds that touch (even when vehicle is stationary) the front and back of the vehicle are repeated hit, causing massive damage to the hood+engine/trunk lid if 2 or 3 zombies are left for a couple of seconds. Also, isnt this mod supposed to share some feature with the commando? Commando mod desc states that engine door (which I assume is the hood) will never fully break, yet the hood of the LAV breaks rather easily

@Renamao you could use the "common sense" mod, it allows to pry open doors using a crowbar. watch out for a chance of breaking windows.

Is there a way to get inside a locked lav-300 without having to break the windows? (If that's even possible)

Haven't tried this mod since the update in Nov 15th because when I did, this vehicle was crazy weak. I'll give it another shot and see if it's been buffed or not...

project zomboid is not meant to have military vehicles, or big vehicles, 1-1.5 tons is usually what game engine can take, these vehicles look like they are heavy but they are not, they can't be because they would not move, it is that simple. also this guy can't be destroyed beyond a certain threshold, so complaining about it being weak makes no sense.

this would be a fun vehicle.... if it weren't for TDL's overly lengthy and tedious repair process

Is it just me or are most KI5 army vehicles very, very fragile?

This is supposed to be a 15 ton amphibious machine that can deflect point-blank 7.62 like they're nothing and is resistant to damn grenades & landmines, and yet running over 10-15 zombies breaks my front & headlights and drops my speed like I hit a tree.

Imo it needs like a 500% hp buff to lights and a 1500% hp buff to all part hp, meat & bones don't exactly dent armor this thick. It's more likely to get stuck in a 100 zombie pile and get the paint scratched than experience any actual damage, even to the wheels.

If anyone knows what I gotta edit to make these changes for my own personal enjoyment and immersion (the vehicles ARE very, very nicely made) - please share!

Please buff this vehicle. Running over a couple zombies significantly reduces your speed, and I have been constantly getting stuck by a swarm of zombies because of it. I have to constantly avoid zombies, which makes no sense i should be able to plow through them

Is it known what mod conflicts and causes the armor system to fail? I have ended up with zeroed hoods, doors, and engines on mine

very dissapointing

extremely weak vehicle. you have to avoid zombies like you're driving a civic and not 15 tonn APC that can withstand 50 cal with upper front plate. needs more protection attachments or WAY MORE health points to available ones.

I'm looking forward to the ACV, which I think is the coolest Marine Corps vehicle. Even if it doesn't belong to this era

Excellent mod overall, my only complaint is how quickly the front guard and light guards deteriorate. I expected this vehicle to offer more resistance to hitting zombies.

My new favorite mobile base. The P19A will always hold a special place in my heart, and maybe I'll eventually go back to it, but for the moment the LAV-300 is where it's at for me.

My only gripe with this vehicle is as an APC this thing is very weak to be damaged as it was during that trip. This vehicle should be able to high speed run over hundreds of zombies before any serious damage becomes obvious.

This vehicle saved a playthrough I had, got stuck in the forest at night while driving this as my character was max tired and both headlights had been destroyed and could not see where I was going and got swarmed by an actual zombie horde. Went back and forth for probably 4.5 ingame hours and this beast killed every single zombie in that horde. While the tires, hood destroyed, lights all destroyed and engine ended up badly damaged my character survived.

To make small glass panes you need a large glass pane, which in turn need small glass panes and nothing else, I feel like this is a catch-22, is there no other way to make glass panes? I tried looking at the guide and there are no crafting recipes from other vehicles and even house windows don't work.

@k15 in my server full of zomboids, this beautiful vehicle has not withstood even a single trip. Please make them stronger.

I heard there were guaranteed spawns, like I have a friend that has experienced in 5 different worlds a spawn at Rosewood prison, but it hasn't shown up in our multiplayer world. Is this a normal issue?
