It still can be fixed by disabling the birds, which is ok for me, as I use this mod mostly for water sounds, and we have bird mods for bird sounds.

FYI this mod 100% causes music to stutter atm, from what i've seen its much more common with modded music like P-music or Actually Vanilla music

For me, disabling birds' songs in mod settings completely solved the problem.

I agree. Every music repitition is a necrotic stab in my ephemeral existence...

oh god, forgot to mention the birds. The bird ambience is the worst offender, and causes the most skips.

Just to give more details; when a pawn is doing something that makes a sound (like chopping a tree or mining) the music skips for a moment and restarts. This happens every few seconds and makes the mod unusable, even when this is the only enabled mod.

This has been a staple in my mod order for over a year now, it would be tragic if this is what made me stop using it. It's a fantastic mod otherwise.

Ahh so the music restarting and freezing is from this mod! Took me ages to figure it out... No errors show up whatsoever.

I also still have this issue that the music randomly starts to stutter. But turning the birdsound off or at 50 still fixes it.

The corpse flies also play in a vacuum, which is funny but probably not intended?

Unfortunately, it's unplayable now due to the music freezes :(

I had the music skipping issue with bird sounds off, I noticed I had some rotting corpses around so I turned off the rotting fly noises as well and that seemed to fix it.

Also experienced music stutter with this mod. Not using bird sounds.

I just got a parrot and noticed music stuttering/skipping hardcore. Disabled bird sounds and it's back to playing full songs.

I think the bird sound/music stuttering issue may still be there.

Music stuttering issue is caused by Bird Sounds. Disable it or increase the bird range to 50+ to get rid of the issue. I will have a update that fixes it later.

I can confirm the music loops, and it's worse when closing in on several pawns working. It not only cuts out intermittently, it also simply goes back a second or two and loops.

Thanks for reporting the issue! I think this issue was caused by audio artifacts in the sounds, so I replaced all of them. Let me know if this fixes it.

@bashnako - The "Sound Range Change" option affects how much zoom to hear it fully

With this mod, can I make it so that I can hear the sounds of the pawns better when I look at the colony from above (zoom out)? ... instead of just hearing the wind.

Hmm, could someone provide some more details? Like the sounds cut off randomly? Or it just sounding weird / overlap issues? Using Camera+?

Can confirm it's caused by this mod. When in pause menu the music is fine, if I am in game and move the camera over something that produce "ambient sound", like a river, the music bugs out.
I removed the mod and now it's fine.
