The drills have a prerequisite in survival, but it is literally not there (just a line leading nowhere), rendering these drills unobtainable.

The author does not allow any derivative work on the workshop, so I doubt you'll see any.

i was wondering what the prototech drill reminded me of and it turns out it was this mod and another drill mod lol, amazing drill mod that shadows the prototech stuff

it is read as a tool, but isnt in the shiptool category ^^ the shiptool Icon for the G menu is in my category. Somehow it is possible, but havent figured it out :'D I think its something easy, as always ! :'D

i see you have said that u need to get the block from 'your g-menu' im not sure what that means aside from your blocks categories. but its odd that its not reading as a tool. is there a way to fix it?

it already has this mode. But it isnt in the "shiptools"-group in the G-menue, you have to take it from my group

@Raccoon, not with the vanilla BlockType. There is a rotationspeed, but if changed, it wont change ingame. Maybe with the new ToolsEngine. But havent took a look into

For some odd reason in my progression tree they're just floating without a way to unlock them. Anyone encountered that issue already? I genuinely have no idea what could've caused it or how to fix it.

I am using the Giant Drill to dig out an underground base. I freed enough space to place it at the end of a conveyor.
But after the income shrinks down to below 100 units, i took it away, put another conveyor at the end, but the Giant Drill doesn´t have enough space.

tldr; The Giant Drill doesn´t free enough space in front of it to place 1 block

Jap, just testet it, in the Cockpit G menu is the category LifeTech-Giant Drills, there are 2 Icons for Drill, one is the ToolIcon (Mouse controlle) the other one is the standart

giant drill's conveyor ports arent accessible via player input; can access them through conveyer but cant place other conveyors on it; can access the rebel drill's conveyors but not the giant one

There is a bug that if you drill another ship with your drills, it will freeze the game.

yup confirmed the issue stems from Replace vanilla tools [Tool Core] mod

also getting the unable to unlock as there is no prereq listed in the progression tree. I think this is due to the mod calling for VanillaDrills Group when I have ToolCore and replace vanilla tools mod on. Though in that mod there is no reference to group VanillaDrills but seems to change the group to be called ShipToolGroup.

that definitely wont be possible via a vanilla way, only if using something like the animation engine i believe.
