Went through and checked all my mods and for some reason it was Faces+ that changed Southern Hivers from being in their own category to being a subrace of Hivers, mod works perfectly fine now

Hives Expanded is compatible, but I know little about GenMod. If you can access the southern hive in the character creator, are they listed under the same race category as the western hive? If so, that's not vanilla behavior, and a mod has made it that way. This causes the different dialogue to overlap.

Having an issue where Hiver traders initiate dialogue just fine and I can buy things from them, but they reset to their default 'LOST ONE! HIVELESS! GET OUT!' lines right after I exit the trade window. I can still trade with them while they yell this, but whenever I visit the robotics shop they *just* yell at me to get out and I cannot initiate the trading window. I've disabled every other mod I know makes changes to Hivers and had all my Westerners run as far away from the village as possible just in case, but the issue still persists. The only other mods that I think maybe could be affecting this one are GenMod and Hives Expanded, is this mod incompatible with either of those two?

The Southern Hive is intended to call you no-hive, even in vanilla. Just like the relation with the Western Hive, they consider you an outsider for not being part of their collective anymore.

I'm playing as Eyegore thanks to your great Eyegore mod. And I subscribed this mod too. I found that the patrolling Southern Hives still says "no hive" when they encounter me (my squad has only one guy, Eyegore). Is that possible to fix?

As far as I know, I don't have any mods where I would expect this. Apparently, one of them does have such changes, but I don't know anything about it

You most likely have a mod that places both groups of hivers into the same race category. I noted this in the description.

The mod isn't working properly. I was playing as a soldier of the western hive and as soon as I went to a store in one of the villages of the hive, the merchant perceived me as a soldier of the southern hive. We traded, then he cried out that I was without a hive

I mean a mod that includes south hivers without making them a hiver subrace, I thought subrace was all there was originally.

Yes. In vanilla they are separate.

I probably wouldn't be familiar with the mods. However, if you have southern hivers enabled in character creation, you can still check to see if this IS the problem. They're supposed to be separate categories in the creator normally.

It might be something i've done but my western hivers are being talked to like south hivers.

You don't need to import. New dialogue and fixed checks should automatically apply to the existing packages.

Normal hivers remain the same, but I went through all the Holy Nation interactions I could find to ensure they will also treat *southern* hivers the same way, now. I have kept the race groups separate (that's how they are in vanilla), but the two groups should now be treated the same.

does this mod make the holy nation not accept hivers? i assume that's a given when they're in the hive group but i'm just making sure

Plausibly, but I wanted to offer an addon that stays close to vanilla (where southern hivers are rare to obtain) while fixing any dialogue hiccups. Plus, if the racegroups are different, you can have unique dialogue for them.

Most mods that make Southern Hivers playable will fix this, however, as Southern Hive are added to the 'Hive' racegroup, which means they get counted as Hive by the game. You could've just done that.
