Double "Ask to unite" attempts possible if cryptosleep releases a non hostile pawn, then when first request fails, the pawn is imprisoned, it can be asked to be reunited again

Had a humorous interaction with this.

Empire asked me to host someone, during this time they got into a relationship with one of my colonists. "Ask to Unite" is there.
Screw it, click it.
"Prisoner recruited"

So it apparently worked, but the quest immediatel failed, i got -6 reputation
and they, and the two people sent with them, both started walking away.

I dev mode re-recruited them, but yeah, apparently if they're there as part of a quest its a little iffy.

I have a problem where every time I want to invite a colonist, a message appears saying that I cannot invite them (it is silent). What is the problem? I have this problem every time with every colonist I want to invite.

Enjoy this mod but recently noticed a pair of brothers one who I started with and the other I recently recruited with this mod are now no longer brothers. Not sure why(or how) they're no longer bros but wanted to check if anyone else has had this issue?

oh man, i jst got the mod cause one of my starting pawn's husband walked on during a caravan and i went to ask him to join.. but she's mute. so she just has to stand there staring at her husband as he walks away

If you do a "Host this pawn for a couple of weeks because they like observing other cultures." quest and befriend that pawn, using "Ask to Unite" on them will fail the quest AND the pawn will walk off the map and disappear, which doesn't seem like the intended result.

Had a pawn with a relationship crashland. She was unable to talk (injured) so her brother couldn't talk to her. But after she got better, the option never updated (it remained "unable to talk").

Don't get the "Ask to Unite" option at all no matter if I am trying to use the pawn they have a relationship with or not. Just get the "Arrest" option which is now 100% with the correct pawn.

Update for 1.6 will be soon.
In the mod settings you can control chances as well as others settings(Unwavering loyalty etc.).

I love this mod! :) No idea if you are looking for ways to add to it, but I do have a suggestion you're free to ignore.

Maybe I'm a hopeless romantic, maybe I'm a masochist. But I kind of wish that when a pawn's lover/spouse is unwaveringly loyal, there was an option for my pawn to defect to their lover's faction. Or maybe, for unwaveringly loyal pawns, we could still try to recruit them, but there was a chance of them taking the colony pawn with them on failure.

Same issue as Darth Brawn and Floppa. Works with most pawns I've found however.

Having the same problem as @floppa , can't recruit because target is "incapable of talking" even though both pawns have 100% talking ability. The target is in an imperial trading caravan, so maybe it's a mod conflict with VFE Empire?

@flee - it has worked for me on pawns {family members} that are unwaveringly loyal, however i still play on 1.4. it might just be that the pawn you are asking with might not have social skills?

hey dude hope all is well. I just had a small feature request. Just had an imperial trader show up to my colony where one of the traders was a lover of one of my colonists, however he was "unwaveringly loyal" so i couldn't ask him to join. Can we fix this for two pawns who are lovers/in love? I feel like love is the strongest emotion of all and makes people do questionable things sometimes

Funny enough I can ask a random homeless man (a wild man) to join my colony despite not having enough skill in handing to tame him. :steamthumbsup:

Hi! I just had the "Shelter for an Ally" quest, but one of my pawns fell in love with them. I asked them to reunite and they accepted, but then they left the map immediately :( It also came up in the messages as "Prisoner Recruited", even though she wasn't a prisoner. Despite her being apparently recruited, she's gone back 'home' alas.

I bet they would appreciate a place to stay, despite techincally having a faction, their backstory says that they are extremely depressed about their home being destroyed and now they seek food and beer to drink their sorrows away, would this be the perfect setup to offer them a home?

Anyway for some reason I cannot invite any beggar to stay :seriousboss:

Awesome Mod, I love it.

Just Reporting bug:

if you try to recruit someone from a Bestowing ceremony party (i.e.; one of the guards) the following happens:

1. If recruitment is success: the ceremony is cancelled and the party boards the shuttle.
2. The Shuttle WILL NOT depart until the recruited pawn boards.
3. If two or more pawns in the party are recruitable (related to your pawns) and one attempt is success, the second attempt will fail.

I looks like it works fine but the ceremony party glitches out and never leaves if the recruited pawn doesn't board the shuttle; you may board the shuttle manually with the new pawn and he will just be gone :(

Tried this mod briefly. Used reunion on a hospitality guest. Though he was a colonist and I could draft him and assign him work, etc, all he did was wander around the base like a guest. The game would not even let him open colony doors. Forever. Utterly cursed.
