These should not have any roof collisions with any other roof/deck weaponry.

Thank you!
Do these have collision with other turrets, like the Mining Laser and Heat Lance?

That does seem to have fixed it. Thank you!

Thanks!
I think I left in some pre-meltdown code that was causing this, sorry!
New version pushed to the workshop, let me know if the issue still happens after a full unsub and resub.

I have discovered a pretty major and fatal crash. When a ship were to gain negative control points (either due to the destruction or disabling of a cockpit or when building), the game freezes for around 10 seconds then hard-crashes with either the standard or extended version of these.

Oddly enough, the logs do not display anything of note, either in regular or dev mode.

Thank you for updating this over time.

Dope. Thanks man.

Should be fixed now :)
You might need to unsub/resub to force the mod to update.

Thanks for the heads up.. yep, this update has completely blindsided me.

Pretty sure your mod got made obsolete with today's update. Well, maybe not obsolete but definitely changes the priorities. Your may not only be worth it on fighters and smaller vessels.

Regardless... the game crashes now. As to be expected since the resource collector in the game doesn't exist anymore.

Well.. making multiple mods is as difficult as making one mod.. multiple times

Ultimately it comes down to upkeep/maintenance/effort/time/prefferences, and making modA work with modB -- which can be harder as opposed to just doing everything in one big mega-mod

*nodnods* If the goal is to make a game overhaul that makes sense. Otherwise... collections exist for making bundles.
Disclaimer: I've never made a mod on Steam and don't know firsthand how much extra effort it is to make multiples instead of one.
RustyDios  [autor] 2 SEP 2023 a las 17:02
Oh! yeah not a fan of that of that myself!

I much prefer smaller focused self-contained mods with a direct purpose ... instead of large overhaul mods, or mods that do two+ completely different things.

So my own mods try to follow those principles too. Small, direct, focused to the part.
Rush430 2 SEP 2023 a las 16:50
Absolutely not! It's me expressing annoyance with modders for other games throwing a dozen different features into one mod with no way to only take some without the others.
RustyDios  [autor] 2 SEP 2023 a las 16:37
Was that a *subtle* hint that you want me to do this here?
as this mod doesn't currently change storage values - nor do I feel a mod focused on the resource collector -should- do that, as there are plenty of mods to change storage values out there.
Rush430 2 SEP 2023 a las 16:27
Having multiple mods that do similar or the same things means we, the users, get to pick which form of balance we like. Some people also overdo things and delve into parts of the game - for a hypothetical example changing storage values as part of a resource collector mod - that we might not want changed for ourselves. *coughFrakincough*
It's up to you, obviously, but no effort is wasted. :)

Looks amazing, cant wait to try this. Thank you for the time and effort into creating this and TY again for sharing. Please do continue your work as other mods get made everything is done better or worse than others. i have not used meny mods as of writing this. but dont be dis-hearted by other mods "the same" you can always add something that makes your unquie
