Should make another one called heavy armored mercenary rags. and it adds stomach protection. could add a samurai back piece and Mercenary plate stomach plates or samurai plate stomach plate strips for better stomach protection.

yeah, if you see tags like "research" on my mods, be them skins for weapons, weapons themselves, armor, or otherwise, you can assume there's a way to research it either by bench or blueprint as well as the ability to craft it. This one should be a common blueprint wherever you may find either mercenary plate or armored rags

Is it craft-able ? (and if yes then is it through regular progression or with a blueprint ?)

this method of mine, using gimp, causes alpha bugs where you can see black parts of the texture that used to be semi-transparent, this transparency being what controls the allocation of the specular or shine on the texture. The most dull parts of the texture are the most transparent, so I guess when you make the canvas bigger there might be a setting or something that dictates quality and something gets messed up and registers as no color data.

i use gimp, I just take a texture, double the canvas size, put one atlas in one corner, put the other in the other corner, this gives me room for 2 more atlases, but i guess you can just make it rectangular, then you go into blender, into UV mapping, then you select everything while in edit mode (in order to select all the verts), select everything on the uv editor window and move them to the proper position

i cant get the colored version to actually change to the color of my faction

i think unholy chestplate with black plate jacket arms would be pretty cool :D (would be cooler if you could remove the skirt portion of the unholy armor for a less clunky look)

@trinity basically put you the iron chest plates in place of leather plates (unless they are the same models) and add some iron and other pieces in other parts

so just reskin this into a semi-leather version? like all the mercenary plate parts into leather

Take the mercenary leather armour and get the chest plates of the armored rags and put it on there and i guess color some other parts on the leather armour

I'm an amature, jury rigging modder, if the model really has something about it that prevents me from editing it, then tag i probably won't do it, it i can get away with it then sure. also gotta ask for permission or just credit naturally

hives expanded armor is wonky as shit and the models dont respond well to being edited

Whats the possibility of you doing some of these remix type armors for the hive expanded armor?
