I absolutely love this map! This does a great job at creating an eerie atmosphere!

After gm_punk I started going through this creator's maps, and it is extremely honest that these aren't just maps, they're art. And they're beautiful art at that. All of them carry themes that, even if I don't understand, I appreciate. I have seen some use hammer editor to create art in the past, but none have felt as moving as this creator's selection.

i wasnt expecting this map to nail the atmosphere, and i'm happy to be surprised wen i wasnt expecting nothing.

On the off chance anyone wants to know what show is playing on the TV I did some internet sleuthing and some guesswork to work it out. It's from a TV show called 227, the episode is called Toyland and features Pee-Wee Herman.

I didn't expect this to be such an emotional trip, but I'm glad it was. Made me think of my grandfather who past away last year. I'll miss him a lot, the jokes he always cracked, and his voice. Now I wanna spend more time with my family to cherish those moments

made me kinda sad

I saw this map on the workshop and thought of it as interesting, now, after playing it through, i do find it creepy. But also comforting, familiar, nostalgic, and unexplainable. It may be a mess of meanings, but i like to think it's my mess of meanings to find out and keep, and that's somehow comforting, so it's ok.

Holy shit, this map is amazing
And i think i got the story behind it,
I think this map is a symbolisation of death because at the spawn point you can see a car crash, and i’m guessing the deeper you go the map reveals past memories such as the bar and the house
