I may be doing something wrong. But using ace with a scope. It seems the zeroing may be ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up. Am i missing a patch or something?

Hey!, i wanted to make this mod but i couldnt figure out the whole process from 3D modeling up to arma 3, i tried looking in the internet for tutorials or guides but to no luck. i have a RPG-29 model, i dont know if its game ready or not, or how to import it to arma 3.
I would greatly apreciate if you can give me the resources you used to make this mod, or even better for me, be willing to teach me a bit.

Sure, the class names are as follows. That said, just as a tip if you need this in the future. If you install ACE and use the ACE arsenal instead of the vanilla one, it will show you all the class names of any item under the actual name. :)

Oh the M82A1 is out there, i think BAF has it and RHS also has it. Keep in mind that its renamed to the more commonly known name M107 which the US uses. There are only minor differences between the M82A1 and the M107 :P

I definitely enjoy this mod! If you do the 82A1 I will definitely be watching and waiting for it! No one has done it yet that I’ve seen, and definitely not as good as this one!

Hello, i like the model it s a big and massive weapon but the sound ...., for a 0.50 cal. Same thing

for the HE ammo

Raufoss is the perfect round for this as one of its main uses it for helicopters, bit less explosive damage and more penetration, but i know fine tuning ammo is a pain, the HEDP seems to have little to no penetration of vehicles fire geometry at the moment to the point a round to the engine block of a UAZ will take out the crew and tires but leave the engine untouched.

@Havajos, Yea guess i could include an optic with the mod itself that you can attach like any other scope. I will add that to the list of things that i still need to do. :)

@SnakeDoc, I agree that the HEDP is a bit too OP. It basically fires a HEDP grenade, but i just wanted a few different levels of ammo to start with and my plan was always to dial it in a bit more later.

I will also have a look at making it compatible with some of the RHS mags for the M107.

Very cool weapon platform for arma, helicopters stand no chance.

- I feel the HEDP should do less explosive dmg and more kinetic damage, so you can take out no armor/light armored vehicles engines in one shot or kill the crew with cabin shots after penetrating the FG. Maybe add/replace it with a Raufoss round.

- Move the round type to the beginning of the name or shorten it, currently the round type is cut off in the HUD

@ChippyNPC, optics are working fine on my end, it must be a mod your running that's conflicting, im running a large modset CBA, ACE, RHS and many others.

Cant mount any optics on it, i would like this for our antistasi server, any chance you can fix the optic issue.

The magazine will come together with the reload animation once i create that. The scopes from the Sahara DLC i was unaware off, so i will look into that!

This is good. But there are something need to improve.

-The magazine model not detach from gun when reloading.

-Not compatible with Western Sahara scope.

@faystyle83, I have reused the vanilla GM6 sounds for now. But i do plan on adding my own that sounds more like the iconic Barrett.

@MADRAT, You should be able to just use any vanilla or modded scope for it. But it is meant to have a rather short range scope since its not really a traditional "sniper".

@Tornado1001, I was pondering if i should mention this. But yes i actually got the inspiration from the AK lord's video. If you want a little interesting easteregg, then have a look at the weapons engraving on the side. This is in fact the same serial numbers as Herrera's.

Congrats on succeeding your project. Since you started from scratch i can imagine how difficult it was to do the full 3D model and then implementation into the game.
I've always dreamed to do weapon mods but never managed to complete one xD
