It works just fine on 1.5. It could be added to the ignore version mismatch mod. It is a simple 'defs' mod no C# involved.

Contributed to it ages ago. Been using it in 1.5 for ages. It's practically impossible for this to break your game.

Something like how Simple Utilities: Ceiling has toggleable indicators could work too, so you can flip them on when you need to see where the lights are, and back off when you want everything to look nice and clean.

New update, enable 1.4 features and research:
* Enable the Color picker.
* Enable Darklight swap.
* When Advanced Lighting researched cut the power consumption to half. In line with vanilla standing lamps.

Thank you for updating this! As to DisKor's suggestion, there are other mods available that do that already. I *LOVE* this mod specifically because it doesn't do that, and I very much prefer the clean look this has. I'd say the exact opposite, please don't change this at all.

I feel like the light should have some form of vague indicator of location, for being able to select it again, such as a small very translucent circle or something?
