Hello!

Do we know if this mod still works? I'm planning on adding this mod to my server and im wondering if anything wouldn't be operational or would bug out.

Mostly asking since the last update was in 2022.

@Dog_Soldier_94 That would be a fun idea :D In the screen, I am in the hospital of Bedford Falls (which was "officially" Dr Hyde's lair on the server I played on), it has a research facility on the roof, with a decontamination chamber and everything... If you don't know that map you should totally give it a try :)
But I used to build small "secret" labs for the players to find with lore notes... in an underground bunker, behind a wall at Louisville's Hospital, in a wooden hut in the middle of nowhere...

@apoka Hi, it adds some machinery (autopsy table, chemistry set etc... you can see them in the first pic) and some decoration (a skeleton, posters, a virus model...). I guess you can add the books and chems names to the anti spawn list if you just want to use the decor :)

hey man! I have a question, does it add the tiles from the laboratory? we don't wanna create the cure yet but we wanna map some laboratories.

If you take the advanced vaccine and get bitten afterward (during 2 in game weeks), there's 65% that you survive :)

hi shad thanks for the reply, so you confirm that if I take a vaccine, for example the advenced vaccine and I get bitten, is there a chance of survive ?

I'll try to answer the last questions :
- To make the books spawn in solo, install the mod + Book Spawn option. Every book needed to craft the lab will spawn, only the Dr Hyde note (needed for the 100% cure) will not spawn. You can make it spawn in admin mode (check how to launch the game in debug mode ;) )
- Vanquisher, thanks ! The original mod had this "discover everything by yourself", that I liked, but I understand not everyone is in this mood, that's why I added some infos here :)
- Brian, the vaccines are preventive, they lower the risks of being infected by wounds. They have a very very thin chance to cure the infection if you already have it (you can check the percentages in "Vaccines' Efficiency"). The Cure has no preventive power, but it will heal you if you are infected.

I currently play on a multiplayer server where the zombie infection is only through bites.. what I wonder is: how exactly does the vaccine work??? That is, if I get a bite, am I dead or do I have a chance of saving myself???
Does the vaccine prevent the bite wound or simply the infection, thus making the bite fatal?

how can i get the book on solo? and how does chromatography work
and how is the human meat work or used for?

when we can made the cure via Z organ ? in my opinion,vaccin is interesting but only slow down sickness from zombification in the goal to win extra time till you make your first cure in case of injury from Z... finaly you have made a very interesting mod but need LOT of tutorial, sometimes it's hard to understand you need to be closed to a corresponding workbench for crafting some recipe, i would like too see gain XP when doing chemestry too, hope to see the recipe of the cure soon, keep the good work, lot of potential !

Is it possible to add that you get the hydes notes from the research journal after it has been used in X amount of autopsies? Would be cool that the player themselves are working towards something.

Sound good! For example tying it to a separate recipe magazine could allow professional teach their assistants the procedure too without allowing them to do rest of the stuff, which they realistically wouldnt know how to..

Overall absolutely amazing mod!

Tiina I think I'll make a RP version with more limitations in the future. Currently yes, anyone can do autopsies but they give a small amount of XP

Hey! Is it possible on multiplayer to limit which professions can do autopsies? It seems that people have been able to do it without reading the magazines and grind up their first aid.

yo i'm trying to craft the muffle furnace and it's requiring these electric wires with a white-ish color, where do they spawn?

I think this Mod is awesome but i still trying to figure out How it Works, it would would be Nice to find a tutorial somewhere

@Shad i did only try the command line in server (hosted on my server so not dedicated). what admin tool where you refering too?do you mean an mod like Cheat Menu?

@Juliking The easiest way is to use the admin tool, did you try that ?

i tryed spawning items in multiplayer to give to one of the players and it says it does not exist i dont know what i am doing wong i tryed to do /additem (Playername) DrHyde1Vaccine.CureNotes
any other item also does not work to be spawned

Checked again, after deleting and installing this mod, and again and again - bug still exists :(

@matte Yes it also works in 73. Vaccine adds the lab equipment, the possibilty to craft the vaccines and cure, and the autopsies. It can be used alone (DrHyde1Vaccine alone if you don't want the books to spawn, or both DrHyde1Vaccine + DrHyde1VaccineBooks if you want them to spawn normally). Laboratory adds some crafts (like the autotest) and requires Vaccine.
@Shake and @squid I tried again and can't replicate the bug anymore. Could you try deleting both Vaccine and Laboratory and downloading them again ? It may be a remaining file. I'll keep looking if I find something. Thanks for reporting bugs :)

The clothing bug still exists. Hip and thighs gone when wearing most jackets, on players and zeds. Other than that its perfect!

@Feli DrHyde1Vaccine is the base mod, but the books wont spawn. It is for servers that want to be able to control who can make the vaccine, based on RP background. If you also activate DrHydeVaccineBooks, the books will spawn normally in bookshelves etc. You will still need the first one :)

@Shake Actually I got the same bug without any mods. I think it comes from the last update. I checked my game's files integrity and now it seems fixed :) I hope it will work for you too.
