I have two sections of Time Decreases Loot in sandbox settings one with (MLS) the other one without. What is the difference and do i have to modify both of them ? I dont understand...

be carefull, this mod somehow works, but percentages of items removed do not correspond to the sandbox settings. According to the chances, it's about 5% atm, but in rusult it's more like 75% of loot is removed. Tripple checked it with backups and removing and re-installing the mod.

does this mod affect your storage? like lets say you own a car and everything is stored in the car trunk, does that affect this?

Yeah I was messing around with the new setting and thought of your mod. I always thought this was a great idea and glad it made its way to the game.

Do you suggest any settings for it for a balanced long game?

@Deception With the new sandbox setting "looted building chance" in b42, Time Decreases Loot becomes low priority. Eventually I'll update it, but don't expect it soon.

I’m testing a way to use the mod on an already running server. Do you know if, with the base loot on the ground, there’s a risk of it disappearing?

Can someone please explain how to do this, what it means? I know it's probably something simple but I'm not getting it.

does this work with loot respawn? i.e. refilled containers will be depleted despite being "previously looted"

I wish to ask if it's possible to add a feature to the mod. Depleted loot intervals: random intervals of 1 or 2 hours where affected containers only let junk out nothing, stimulating real looted places

possibility to have loot not decrease in certain area of the map like Louisville for exemple would be great. forcing the player to venture in one of the most dangerous part of the map for loots after peak days

@EHOT The containers are checked for item removal only once , either when they are filled with items after exploring the area around them, or when you interact with them - depending on the container and on your settings. They are never checked again.

If you add this mod to an existing save, then yes it will remove items from the containers in your base, because the mod has never checked them before. But if you've had this mod enabled right from the start, you won't have any problem. So don't add this to an ongoing world.

Hi. The question arises. when I add this mod, the resources will decrease, which is understandable.

But if I take resources and transfer them to the base. is your Mod to replace these resources or not?

Could be this turned around. So peak of loot disapearing is in the start and then goes to 0? (simulating less & less people looting stuff over time)

only thing you cant find is stitches lighters and more simple shit you would fined without this mod you will find everything else except a small amount of rare items that you will need and then never find it then die this mod kills you.

Does loot stop despawning at peak day? Or does the chance just flatten out there but loot keeps despawning on the interval?

It would be really interesting to see this integrate with Barricaded World, and for a customisable (default very rare) chance for some locations - perhaps survivor houses - to actually *increase* loot. Might give the impression of simulated hoarders or preppers, by loot just being redistributed.

That loot should increase slightly over time, but be varied enough to sustain gameplay after the peak day, just making it even more difficult to find things.

I don't know whether you can add your own custom stories that refer to a different loot list, or whether you can do something like force zombie spawn at the area to add challenge to it

If I were to add this, use sandbox options changer and make the peak day and start day after the current day in my run, would it work correctly without getting rid of stuff in my bases?
I'll load all my bases before the start day, and interact with all containers, will this prevent anything from being removed from my base?

From what I understand, this is basically simulates other survivors in single player; they don't technically exist, but lorewise, they do, you are, as the player, just extremely unfortunate (or maybe fortunate?) because you never happen across another survivor.

@pzhda'tan Normal is 1x , Rare is 0.6x , Extremely Rare is 0.2x , Insanely Rare is 0.05x .
So if you start on Rare you'd need 92% Peak Chance to get to about the same as Insanely Rare, if you start on Extremely Rare you'd need 75% Peak chance.

Sorry for asking. I want loot rarity to be Insanely rare on peak day. I read somewhere loot value on IR is 0.6. Should I make peak day reduction 40%?

Hey, thanks for making this mod. One of my favs - I'd like to inquire if (in singleplayer) I add some map mods to an ongoing save (in unexplored chuncks), will the mod properly remove everything? For reference the settings are mostly defautl I believe, and my playthrough is about 3 months in, so most loot in normal places is gone now. I assume this will work fine in this scenario?

@Radioactive_rat_007 It stops on the "Peak Day" that you set in the sandbox settings. By default the chance peaks at 75% on day 30.
