rooneyviz1941 NO not at all,that was my attempt with my own textures,he might get it work without glitches idk as he has more experience with shaders,i dont,but you know most shader blood mods flicker like a christmass tree specially on good lighting maps,so i wouldnt get my hopes up the engine is ancient at this point.

you mean parallax?it can be done with shaders,and i tried it and got a nice result,if youre looking at it straight but when moving it flickers,changes colors and on most good lighting maps they are PURE black,so i scraped it,engine is just too old for that sorry.

if only Source had support for cavity displacement decals like some newer games have.
Think the most that could be done in source is bumpmapping.
