I miss YACM and YAISM, Excited to get the update once it's rolled out!

For what it's worth, I am able to run with YAISM enabled, I don't know why but it's not caused any crashes lately (past couple of weeks or so)... yet.

YACM for sure crashes my game and so did YAISM but now, what ever happened, it's not crashing.

@beartech28 - SOMEONE ELSE clearly isn't paying attention to what's going on. No more than TWO DAYS ago did someone part of the team making this mod series say that they're working getting other things ready so this mod CAN receive an update.

@Tyr Lion You are right and you speak my own thoughts better than I could. I have been following this comments section and awaiting a fix for this mod since updating my game a month ago. I too have noticed the tone policing in the comments. It is borderline toxic positivity, which seems to be fashionable these days, especially in cases of criticism or questions being directed toward game/mod developers.

Regardless, I understand where you're coming from and I appreciate you stepping up to the plate to get some information. You speak on behalf of not just myself, but a few others I'm sure. I appreciate DeadRaiser clarifying the situation, and I doubly appreciate the work being done behind the scenes to get things up and running again. The "Yet Another" mods are a tremendous addition and the game just isn't the same without them.

With all that being said, I shall patiently await an update in silence.

@Tyr Lion No worries. No hurt feelings on my end. I understand the concern and I want the mod up and running again as well. I just have too many projects to keep bouncing around to make small updates here and there, so I have to prioritize them one at a time and give them substantial updates otherwise I’ll never get them done

Do you really think DeadRaiser is that much of an insecure emotionally fragile mess that one semi-critical post from me will drive him to depression & abandoning the mod he worked hard on for so many hours?
Did we really reach a point where you can't offer any critique at all to mod authors without a bunch of white knights going "Don't complain, don't hurt Modders feelings, just keep praising and thanking him for everything he does, he's a fragile flower that needs our love!"?

Last I checked Steam was an open forum and everybody's allowed to voice their opinion. If you feel like my post will drive DeadRaise into a panic attack - feel free to fill this chat with support and praise to counter it. But trying to shame me/police this chat is hella cringe :BL3Shrug:

@DeadRaiser Yes I'm aware you lead YAML Dev team. I was still hoping you could spend a day away fom main YAML to implement a quick fix to YACM and YAISM. I may not like it but I understand your "no sloppy fixes, full rework only" stance and I'll gladly wait until it's YACM's turn if I know it's actually in development. The main issue for me was the month-long silence and lack of any activity/progress. Thanks for taking the time to answer.

@Tyr Lion, just so you know and maybe if you read the main YAML page: I AM A LEAD DEVELOPER ON YAML AND THAT WAS MY PRIORITY FOR THE LAST TWO MONTHS. Now that's out of the way, I have other critical mods that need to be updated before YACM and YAISM can even function. Those being my weapon mods. So yes, it'll take a bit longer, but I don't half ass the work I do so when it's ready, it'll be really ready. Not a band aid patch.

Yeah it's been a month and the fact that this mod with 77K subscribers has 0 priority for DeadRaiser says a lot. YAML got how many updates since then? 10? But there's no time for 1 update for YetAnotherClanMech to make it DLC7 compatible.
At this point the only hope is that somebody makes a fork of this mod for DLC7.

Confirmed it crashes at every single mission planet, even without DLC7 as i have only 1-6.
Confirmed through process of elimination, took time, but certainty was acquired!

Bit odd my last message got deleted regarding the game crashing due to the mod, but thankfully I have seen this is being addressed.

Apologies for the repetitive questions and concerns others have asked already, but I look forward to seeing this fixed soon.

@swatti not part of the mod team and def not an expert, but in the past if my mod wasnt enabled my saves would not show the mechs, but as soon as the mod was turned back on everything showed up. have hope!

QUESTION: I had to uninstall the mod, i lost about 100mil worth of mechs.
Once the mod is updated, do i get them back by reinstalling?
I'm hoping they are still "in the save" but since the mod is not installed, they are not recognized and just wont appear... Give me hope.

Thanks ahead of time for this COMPLETELY FREE THING THAT YOU DIDN'T HAVE TO DO. A lot of the other mods are working wonderfully. I've already got all kinds of clan gear to load on to my Clan mechs whenever they get here.

HELP PLEASE FIX!! Crashing (Fatal Error) on travel via starmap. Definitely this mod. No way to prevent it. Happens to every save file regardless of settings. Error message "Unhandled Exception: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION reading address 0x0000000000000000"
