I'm not blaming this mod, but just letting you know there seems to be some incompartbilty with GIgas or ACOT (probably the latter, I also have secrets of the shroud), A the Eye did not spawn naturally, B) FE kepts declaring crisis wars on everyone for no reason. Also rifts kepts spawning after the Eye was closed... Be careful with long modlists, y'all

The Eye of Terror spawned inside a fallen Empire, and I happen to be their neighbor, am I basically screwed? I don't think I'll be able to seal the rift.

so is there an known issue of hard freezing then it's set to 25X?
as i keep crashing by year 20 if it's on 25X.
i have gone up to only 5X in the past but wanted to just see max crisis set up with giga and darkspace, and the hard freezing only stopped after i turned this mod off.

the shroud worship civic is a bit unbalanced to say the least, 25 percent more unity and the ability to pick what shroud events you get kinda take the fun out of it, especially because you can just auto get psi jump drives and shit the second you get the shroud, maybe consider tuning it down a bit? the unity is fine if it comes with some negatives and just removing which shroud event you get sounds good

its great, like the whole mod, but it kinda takes the fun out of being a crazy cult

Indeed. Shroud Rising is a very well written mod that makes midgame much more interesting. I hope it gets updated eventually. It's a real shame that almost every major Stellaris update changes so many things that major mods require constant updating ;___;

Unfortunately, this mod is pretty out of date, so it probably just won't work. I had a similar issue with the smaller rifts though. The solution was to click the name tag for the planet that the rift spawned over, but I'm not sure if the Eye has that. I'm hoping this gets updated before I start another game, the update broke my last save.

I've run into an issue where I cannot build the goliath inhibitor around the eye as the shroud rift kind of overlaps the black hole of the eye, this makes it impossible to build the inhibitor as the rift is what I'd be clicking on instead of the eye. Is there any way around this.

I've noticed a compatibility issue wit gigas from my previous comment i forgot to mention here. Basically a ruined behemoth planetcraft can spawn in the spiritual fallen empire capital, and in the same spot as the eye of terror rift point of interest. you cannot finish the event chain until the fallen empire wakes up and repairs the planetcraft, or you take the system and repair it yourself

Ok, so far I managed to close the rifts by spawning my ships around and instant_build. I guess that I need to finish monolith chain now to close the Eye of Terror.

I don't want to sound like a malcontent, this mod is brilliantly conceived, it's just that the scripts slow down the game at equal intervals

I want to say that this is probably the best mod I've ever used. I got really bored of standard stellaris crises, the Khan is a joke and subspace storms barely do anything. This is a serious problem that has issues across the galaxy with a great buildup leading to it. I was actually quite interested, excited, and apprehensive of what it would do when it spawned in. It was like the first time the endgame crisis appeared all over again.

It probably helped that IT came through the portal, which was a definite 'pants shidded' moment.

i've sealed all the main rifts in the galaxy, but i still can't seem to do anything about the eye of terror. i can't seem to build the Goliath inhibitor framework at the eye of terror or it's neighboring affected systems. how am i supposed to close it? the eye is in the fallen empire, do i have to invade and take the system to close it?

hello mod test w40Kteam : it s working with humans diaspora but you will have to trigger the event by end day 2 (settings difficulty day 2 then the event shroud_rising_trigger.1 day 3) it seems working after the tag switch.

Second , i agree with TheHalfwayXBray regarding the lag ... i my case , each time the rift will spit a fleet or whatever, the game freeze 2-3 mn until the event fire !

i don't know why, but this mod seems to be causing me a ton of lag as soon as it fires in the mid game with freezing at intervals from a week to two months. I think it has something to do with the damage or corruption to planets taking to much processing to calculate.

It doesn't give the tech directly, but the version they get has almost no tech cost and finishes in 1 month. According to my MP partner.

@Shidan It's possible I used the code to give the tech rather than the tech option to those you share it with.

This mod doesn't work with "Neighbor systems" start From the Planetary Diversity mod. Causes the entire mod to break and no crisis will spawn or pop up in the beginning will happen.

Kinda weird thing with the Blackstone Monoliths. When you unlock them, you're giving the option to share them with others or not. But from my experience this sharing options seems to give everyone shared with the tech for essentially free, while I still have to spend many months researching it.

Seems like it should be they have to do a full research like me right? Or should only trigger after I've fully researched it? Seems very odd for them to get it for free immediately, supposedly shared by me, when I haven't even researched them yet.

I'm not able to close the Rifts even after the Research. The Planet gets highlighted for the Megastructure build, but clicking does nothing.
